So glad the footy is back...Sharks won't do anything with Hynes at 7...simple as that. They are better off having Trindall at 7 and Atkinson at 6
Everyone says Nicho is such a gentleman but the Sharks need to be ruthless and move him on if they want to win a comp.

I don't think they are though. He played his best footy when at Melbourne playing FB in 2021 when papenhuyzen was out for about 10 weeks during that 19 game winning streak in that period.

After watching Penrith and Cronulla and with the caveat that we are yet to see Melbourne and Brisbane, I certainly didn’t see anything invincible.

Apparently Knights have included a ratchet clause in their offer to Dylan.
Wild stuff
When you read stuff like that online, please post the source.

“I feel he’ll go to Newcastle because it’s not just a ten year, $13 million deal. There’s a ratchet clause in the contract as well but the most he could ever earn is $1.4 million a year.”

Having a ratchet clause included in a contract means that if the salary cap goes up in the during the course of the contract, then the value of that deal goes up.

“There’s a ratchet clause? That’s crazy. I thought there would be no ratchet clause given the length of that contract,” NRL360 host Braith Anasta said.

It’d be crazy not to have a ratchet clause on a long term deal. Most likely it’s “ratchet” though, as in it’ll be fixed increase if the cap goes above a specified amount
