Looking at Luai last night, maybe it’s a sign of what Dylbro could look like at the Knights, thrust into a playmaking role with a similar player outside him, which really doesnt suit. Luai and Galvin are both 6s and work better in a structure where they run when in possession.

As Luai did, Dylbro may take the money that’s on offer but possibly at the risk of a good career. Hopefully that doesn’t bite us next week, but just sitting on Luai and not offering much space to Galvin might be the key to controlling the outcome.

Couldn't agree more. Both want to play left sided. Looked tentative and clunky at times as either one didn't know who was going to be the Alpha male.

Either Fainu or Galvin will leave. If Latu isnt getting game time and Dylbro leaves I would be going after him for sure.

I agree gang tackles diminish the game as a spectacle. I remember watching a game in the pub in Melbourne and my Victorian mate said it would’ve been good to watch if there weren’t so many shitmerkins coming in late to tackle merkins around the legs. He thought it was unfair on the bloke with the ball. Weird way to look at things but I saw his point.

It they want to reduce the number of bombs they should just change the rules and say the defending team can’t knock on from a kick. Any dropped kick is a knock back and play on.

We have chosen not to risk Moses' foot for six weeks in order to tank Dylan Brown's market value and get him to stay for his relatively cheap player option, thus accruing a benefit in the medium term.

I think your conspiracy theory has merit in that I don't think Ryles will see it as a bad thing overall having Dylan to assume more responsibility he either sinks or swims under this new regime.

If he can't run the show now then when will he be able too.

The focus on Dylan is a good thing for Volkman. People are expecting magic or failure from Drown but have zero expectations for Volkman. No press or fan pressure whatsoever.

Well, currently it is one almost every set. Which gives the impression it is all teams have on offense and its boring. So an F-load less than that
All we have to do is have a rule that rewards catching the kicked ball on the full (like every other sport) in some way that it starts hurting the team who keeps kicking down the fullbacks throat all the time.

In some of the tries he set up in the trials he had this nice ‘look at to lead runner, pass out the back’ or vice verse, can’t remember exactly.
He had some good long kicks as well.
