Can the CEO, HOF actually use the opportunity wisely, yes the last few months have been better than previously, but the debacle signings after 2022 aren’t that far behind us and the individuals that made those decisions are still in the chair. Hopefully Ryles adds some starch to what needs to be done, simply difficult to invest a lot of trust in them.

Certainly going it to be an interesting few months or more and the club needs to come out the other side considerably better than what was achieved after losing the 6 players in 2022. Pressures on the R&R team for sure, confidence not so such.

Those options worked well, players we would have preferred to move on extended and a player we wanted to retain left. Not to mention the 2 players being groomed in Sanders and Talagi moved on as their path to. rl appeared blocked. Good decisions on those deals eh.

As Dylan said in his post, Love.... Don't hate, Love....
There was a few spaces in there...if you hover over it closely it says $$$ $$$.
Can't begrudge him for it.
You know now that he's decided he may just play out of his skin with the pressure off.
He may also not give 2 effs....
Probably hard for him to stay motivated knowing his future lies elsewhere

He's done nothing without Moses on the field EVER... I wouldn't say he's not trying or not having a go...he's just a second field side kick that we've over paid
His last game without Moses he was good. Yesterday he was even less interested than most of his other games sans Moses.

The discontent for us started with his 'test the market' option thrown out there by him and his manager. It's obvious there's a point when a circus has to go back on the road.
My understanding is that our club approached Drown and his manager wanting POs removed and also wanting it settled prior to round 1. When your negotiating point is current money, no increase and just remove the POs, I reckon it sent a pretty strong message that we were OK if he moved on IMHO.

Brisbane have too many serviceable 9/14’s. They also have Mam who won’t get a start at 6 this year if Madge is serious. He just adds to their 9/14 dilemma imo.

Ideally I’d target Paix as he is their best 9 in the bunch and also try and get Mam. His value is down as he is on the nose. He won’t be happy not starting 6 every week. We can offer both better opportunities than they currently have.

It will be easier to get one or both of them as opposed to someone like Galvin as a move may be better for THEM. What advantage is it to Galvin to move? He is starting and is a pillar of their side moving forward. Parra offers him nothing more than he has now.

And right throughout the whole Dylbags Circus, not one quote from Jason Ryles sounded like he was desperate for Brown to stay. I think Ryles will be happy enough another BA disciple is moving on....
