Did Lomax get an early release from the Dragons? If not he would have been able to sign with another club in November 2024?

AFB he actually got an early release the season before as he was home sick.

Apart from AFB JFH or Stefano I wouldn't touch the rest.

Plus we are the Parramatta Eels we don't get nice things.

Lomax had 2 years to run on his Dragons deal.

Blaize had a Player Option he had to tell the club by Round 10.

RCG is still better than any forward on our books, and we've still not replaced what Gutho provided entirely.

Daniel Saifiti is better than any forward on our books, so is Tupunoua and Terrell May. Two of those blokes left their previous club after we released RCG.

And I threw it back at you. Player options bring risks to the club, as well as a cost to the player. There are also benefits to both sides. That's why we used them while we were making the finals every year. Now we're missing the finals and the media and fans are freaking out we've decided they're not worth the hassle.

You do realise that Sarantinos, ONeil and Rogers are at the forefront of our recruitment, they basically stuffed the side up since the GF by signing basically very ordinary replacements.

Not sure of the confidence level, mine is not that high without a lot of input by Ryles and Brown.

That's because after making the finals four straight years, half the merkins needed upgrades and we couldn't fit the other half of the merkins under the cap. The merkins we could afford to replace them with were obviously not as good.
