It was a Swans tactic the AFL hated. I remember it being maybe like "parking the bus" in soccer - getting everyone back in defence and just trying to counterattack. Did they get rid of that from AFL? If so, how?

I think we’re paying the price for poor planning. There was no succession plan after 2022. Anyone with foresight could see that our entire pack was going to be old in a few years and we didn’t take measures to counteract that.

Don’t worry, it’s just Good Governance from captain Jim and the funky bunch. We sign the Likes of JOffa, Lussick, Harper, Davey, but the the real up and coming talent like Sanders we don’t secure early on.

The likes of Phil Gould doesn’t know what he’s doing. But our Jim does. His plan since 2022 was to take on the Tigers.

You just don’t understand the genius of giving PO’s to rookies, you then get them to play first grade and putting them in the shop window and making it harder to lock them up.

Its what the smart clubs do.

We saved 100% of blaizes contract this season and then 100% percent on Dylan's for next year.

I told your mate years ago the Bulldogs are closer to a comp.then us. Gould was setting it up. Collecting the best juniors and coaches.
Now we have a side ready to take out the title this season.. Next year they'll be favourites.
Whilst we had some good seasons unders BUSHY we never where a genuine title chance.

Isn’t Jacob Arthur going to take over DCE ? The TCT said he wa she next immortal because he used to run hard and come second after Gutho in training runs and stuff.

I am.nothing more then an armchair expert and banged on about it. Any idiot could look at birth dates and the players histories and see it was stupid.
I'd love Mahoney back and wish we kept him over Brown now. He is an animal and plays with his heart and soul
Same goes for Stone.

We neglected speed in the backs for 3 f**king years also.
