My mum used to work at James Hardie Irrigation, where she assembled thousands of sprinklers by hand at the Chester Hill factory. After Ford shut down its Homebush plant, there was no longer any need for gluing roof linings onto Cortinas.

Strangely enough we actually won stuff when Hardies was a sponsor, my son worked there for a while and the staff were really good people. Met a lot of Parra players who had jobs there courtesy of Ovo.

I think a lot rides on how well Moses and Lomax play when they get back. If they can motivate other key players, like Addo-Carr, Simmonson, Riley Smith, Penisini, and Iongi and one or two of the forwards to greater heights I think that might be enough of an advertisement for recruiting one or two very good first graders.

I thought the Roosters would really struggle this year given they lost so many class players. It is interesting that they play so much better than us when their team on paper looks so ordinary.
