Storm and Broncos seem to be doing fine. Plus our hooker and fullback are relatively cheap.2 x $1M plus halves is going to throw an anchor around the rest of your recruitment (as it would with us)

Yeh storm have 1.9 million in their halves and 1 million on their hooker alone, smith will never be on 700k+.Storm and Broncos seem to be doing fine. Plus our hooker and fullback are relatively cheap.
Our total spine would still be on the cheaper side if he came.2 x $1M plus halves is going to throw an anchor around the rest of your recruitment (as it would with us)
The Storms entire model for the last 20+ years has been having an elite spine and surrounding them with bargain players who can do a job.Yeh storm have 1.9 million in their halves and 1 million on their hooker alone, smith will never be on 700k+.
I think we should give Galvin 1 million
Also reckons the Raiders are serious premiership threats because they scored 50 against us in Darwin.Meanwhile The Mole is feeling lonely. So he is manufacturing headlines/stories for attention.

'Get-out clause?': $14m recruit's worry amid Knights shocker
'Would have been nursing an awful headache'www.nine.com.au
that market tracks in my mind....I think the realistic options (clubs who will make an offer and dont refuse to speak with his manager) for Galvin will be
Eels
Bulldogs
Manly (if Canberra re-sign Fog)
Canberra (if they lose Fog)
Titans
Dolphins
Dragons
Hoops in his article states (or more likely Isaac Moses wants him to say) that the reason is based on coaching.
I wouldnt imagine Ryles has put down a resume impressive enough to say "I'm better than Benji" just yet.
So if the coaching line actually has any credence, you can basically rule us out. Rule Dolphins out.
Dragons and Titans have premiership winning coaches, but neither are showing that that will be repeated anytime soon.
I'd personally have a market of
Dogs $3.20
Eels $6

Read this in Gus' voice. He’s also on record as saying that he thinks his next club will give him over a million dollars and they shouldn’t because it’s too much money and pressure at his age. It’ll make him look like a hypocrite if he ends up doing what he preached against.
NFINo on if he is who our other choice with.
Gus has been hyping this kid on every medium for six months - think he is a bulldog.
If he ends up at the Dogs, NRL management would be about as competent as ours. He’s also on record as saying that he thinks his next club will give him over a million dollars and they shouldn’t because it’s too much money and pressure at his age. It’ll make him look like a hypocrite if he ends up doing what he preached against.
Surely Manly put Jake Arthur at 7???I think the realistic options (clubs who will make an offer and dont refuse to speak with his manager) for Galvin will be

It’s Melbourne then daylight unless they succumb to injuries. That being said I think Canberra has been fairly impressive, particularly at home against Brisbane and their comeback against the Sharks. There also one of the few teams to have beaten Melbourne in finals at AAMI Park. Could be a Smokey for the Granny in my opinion. Also reckons the Raiders are serious premiership threats because they scored 50 against us in Darwin.
By that logic there may be a lot of serious premiership threats by the end of the season
If "beauty" is some sort of qualification to be a Wests Tiger, no wonder they've won 3 spoons in a row. Although I do struggle to find any non-uglies in their roster.“Lanky, dumb and ugly are three words a hurt immature person would use to describe Lachlan Galvin……In all seriousness this guy and his manager are flops of the highest order and I hope it backfires on them”
Tigers fans aren’t taking the news well
Can you explain how this is incompetent? How does his media gigs give him any advantage when signing players. I don't understand. If he ends up at the Dogs, NRL management would be about as competent as ours.
If he ends up there on “unders”, I may give away the sport until Gus carks it.
I’ve said it innumerable times, Gus having multiple NRL endorsed platforms to spruik his agenda while he has direct relationship with a club is at best incompetence from NRL, at worst wilful negligence to clear competition tampering.
