How can storm go the entire 80 without giving away a 6 again? It’s one-sided reffing benefitting the top team, and we copped it again Canberra too

2 games where our opposition didn’t make a ruck error.
I didnt mind the rule when it first came in

But its so easy to manipulate now from a game point of view with the refs.

Its become a blight on the game.

How do we just keep dropping the ball week in and week out. Last week was a lot better and we managed to upset the broncs. This week we go back to completing like absolute dog shit. How do we get our players learn to catch a fkn ball. 74% fkn completion rate. Never going to win games playing like this
Not excusing the poor handling as there professionals

But It was probably the coldest home game we have had all year.

Compared to Brissy last week I imagine the temperature would have been a lot more comfortable.

Game on the line.
This is when the big boys step up. Munster and Grant stood out. So did Papps.
Moses running on the last and not kicking was a poor option. Handed ball over in a good position rather then pinning them back and they score next set.
Moses had his chance to step up and win us the game but didn't. I thought he made some poor choices tonight.

I thought Paps was rubbish

Had close to his worse game of FG i have seen

Plus his goal kicking was worse then Lomax

We really miss a lot when Smith is off. No one else bothers to put real pressure on the kicker. On the last Storm try we just sat back and waited for them and gave Munster all the time in the world to kick.

TDS has talent but needs to learn how to scrap like Smith.

Also kudos to Russell, put on some big hits! His game is improving week on week.

Last couple of weeks Russell has seemed to make a point of being physical against his opposite centre. Did it off one of the taps last night when the centre went straight at him. Hopefully he keeps improving

He actually had an awsome game v Brisbane.

Agree with all on last nights effort, he was injured or his mind was elsewhere.
I was told numerous times last year by a few mates who are Dragons fans he has a shit attitude.

I sort of brushed it off

One even sent me a few clips during a dragons game where he made a mistake then got up and blasted a team mate.

I think his season has still been a pass mark but the last couple of home games have been really disappointing.

The Penrith game his lack of chase after dropping the ball is what is really frustrating from a senior player.

And as the season goes on he looks miserable out there.

His goal kicking is overrated he has never finished the season above 80% since he his rookie year when he played 4 games and only had 13 shots at goal.

His defence could be better.

Atm you would say he could have fallen below on the pecking order when it comes to being picked on the wing for Australia.

Coates & Kiraz would be the 2 wingers at this stage that could get picked in front of him for the Ashes.

Especially as those 2 will play finals and Lomax won't be.

I don't GAF about the Kangaroo jumper as that squad seems to be picked based in who won origin.

As for Zac at the Eels, I'm not buying into the pile on. He's a f**king great player. One off night FFS. Let's not have goldfish memories here.

There was a hole in the defence. I don’t blame him for taking his chance.

I’m not sure about the brother incident because I’d likewise probably find it difficult watching a family member then hearing some drongo on sideline chip him. Probably shouldn’t be sitting with the plebs but also the plebs should take a reality check.

I understand the frustration when he throws a silly offload or misses a tackle, but the only people who average more metres are few fullbacks (who will be boosted by kick returns more than Lomax) and some one offs. This doesn’t even take into account switching to other side of field or busting his gut to challenge kicks. Lomax absolutely puts in every week and perhaps if his teammates matched his effort then he wouldn’t be as inclined to overplay his hand.
