Would people rather see a trade window? Say a week after the GF until a week before the season commences and a two week window around origin? I’ve seen this or similar, mooted before.

As I mentioned in a previous post, clearly I hope we get him, but I feel for Tigers fans. It’s a kick in the nuts, during the season.

I get the feeling though the NRL fkn loves it. Everywhere on social media and the actual mainstream media it’s Galvin.
Bring back June 30 for me

Tbf Benji promoting his departure in a rugby union jersey while still playing for the tigers was pretty a shit act as well.
TBF I totlaly agree that promoting a signing and parading him in your jersey whilst he is still contracted and playing for another club is a low scummy act, but at least the Blues didnt photoshop it and at least they got the right guy.

I’d be pretty stupid to have a Eels tattoo ( 2012 spoon year #Loyalty) and a house full of signed memorabilia and a closet full of Eels clothing

I just had a nice nap ( on my Eels sheets) dreaming of Gal and Mitch lifting the trophy
You should post proof, that'll show ol' hiney how big of a man child Parra fan you really are!

Benji was once a 19 year old kid with 11 games. They all start somewhere.
From memory Benji didnt burn his coach and club in a years time. he in fact went on to play 247 games for the Tigers and of course won a premiership......so know, one of these things is not like the other. Even if Galvin goes on to play 300games and win a premiership or two, he has established his lack of class and grace very early in his career and you cant get that back.

Depends what hooker we are talking about so far Smith has started on the bench all season..

But Smith and Iongi are surprisingly good in a team full of Duds..
I thought Hands might step up this season but like most the remaining squad from last year he has regressed.
Only the newbies to our NRL squad have put in.
Lomax, Smith and Ionghi have all had a go at least.
Walker and Williams when he gets back might help things if the rest decide to have a go.
Hopefully we will see Moses sooner then later.
We are fighting to avoid the spoon now only 6 weeks in.

Yeah . . . same same.
You know what, Joker . . . . because of rhyno, I pretty much wrote all you parra fans off as fkwits.
I must say that has changed greatly on the back of the intelligent discussion about this kid. Kudos to you boys.
Oh, but rhyno still is one.

For what it's worth, Galvin is a super talent, but what we need are forwards.

I'd hope we invest in some forwards, before throwing mega bucks at Galvin.

We could have prime Lockyer, and Johns, as our halves, but without a good pack, it's a moot point.

Well seeing we are all thinking that we are the ones getting Galvin, and given that our R&R team are supposedly always asleep, I am going to go out on a limb and say Galvin isn't coming to us, and we probably haven't considered him an option.
Most probably we're preparing Joash Papalii to be 5/8, the position he currently is playing in reggies.

Look, from what I have heard, the motivation for knocking back the Tigers is the interest from Parra.

But he is not done at Parra.

I reckon a certain General manager with a bee stung head is yet to finish with this little game. Like I said, my concern is that Gus is paying chess whilst O'Neill is flat out winning a game of twister against himself.

Also, I find the reaction of the "bulldog" media to be hilarious.

Anasta scoffed and outright dismissed Parra as a destination. James Graham just said it's not happening. They both think he should go to a club with an open premiership window.

Agree with everything. The problem with all the commentators is that they all seem to have skin in the game. Some are on the payroll of clubs, some are servants of managers and others seem to be defenders of particular clubs at all costs. They all spin stories and direct the discussion towards or away from where they want it to be.

It instantly became personal last night on 360 between Anasta and Read and it was clear that there was more to their alliances. There is little point listening to Jam or Gus right now for the same reasons.
