Also, I find the reaction of the "bulldog" media to be hilarious.

Anasta scoffed and outright dismissed Parra as a destination. James Graham just said it's not happening. They both think he should go to a club with an open premiership window.
Our club lacks any voice or presence in the media.

Our club hasn't been strong enough in this path for years and now you have most NRL Media full of ex players consist of ex Roosters, Bulldogs, Broncos, Sharks & Storm.

Our only ex player in the media is Nathan Hindmarsh and as great a player he was he isn't exactly Peter Sterling when it comes to gravitas or someone you listen too when he speaks about Rugby League.

In fact his legacy as a player has diminished more since joining the media letting himself get the piss taken out of by not winning a comp and being a flopper. Which is quite sad really but Hindy has taken $$$$.

You only have to look at when he actually talks about RL he is pretty plain and offers not much to the coverage.

Agree with everything. The problem with all the commentators is that they all seem to have skin in the game. Some are on the payroll of clubs, some are servants of managers and others seem to be defenders of particular clubs at all costs. They all spin stories and direct the discussion towards or away from where they want it to be.

It instantly became personal last night on 360 between Anasta and Read and it was clear that there was more to their alliances. There is little point listening to Jam or Gus right now for the same reasons.
NRL360 need to blow up that whole show and start again.

Anasta is becoming more smug by the show and its becoming a punish to watch.

Ben Ikin popping back on last night for a brief stint reminded me what a classy host he actually was.

Yes he was a Queenslander and at origin time he was a bit unbearable but for the majority of the year he would always hold himself with class and dignity on most discussions.

Anasta comes across as a halfwit yelling across the room like its pretty ironic he has shitbagged the Tigers for years and hates the fact he played for them and is an ex-player and all of sudden they are starting to play well and its become personal for him.

Dan Ginnane on the show last week was a massive upgrade on Tallis.

I think Lara Pitt or Dan Ginnane could easily do the Anasta role and you could carry a bloke like Tallis then.

But Anasta/Tallis is a horrific duo.

For what it's worth, Galvin is a super talent, but what we need are forwards.

I'd hope we invest in some forwards, before throwing mega bucks at Galvin.

We could have prime Lockyer, and Johns, as our halves, but without a good pack, it's a moot point.
The thing for me is I just don't think Moses will be playing alot of games because of injuries and reps.

Without a decent half, we are where we are.

Melbourne's spine is incredible and they just get pigs in the forwards to do a job.

What if the player's current club waive their rights? They seem to have decided that he won't be with them after 2026.

yeah, thats why I said "without permission" which according to their presser could have only been recent, so I find it hard to beleive his next club has been decided at this point in time

The hate is laughable.

They are right, he should. This level of merkinery and knocking back $5.5M as a 19yo would make a tiny bit of sense if he went to Storm/Penrith/Dogs. Leaving 3 x spooners who are improving to a club who are currently last makes a joke of it and reinforces its about $$$ and term.

Repeat - It's okay, we understand your pain all too well.

Look, from what I have heard, the motivation for knocking back the Tigers is the interest from Parra.

But he is not done at Parra.

I reckon a certain General manager with a bee stung head is yet to finish with this little game. Like I said, my concern is that Gus is paying chess whilst O'Neill is flat out winning a game of twister against himself.
If the Dogs make a better offer than our best offer, whether they are paying overs or compensating him outside the cap, it’s out of our hands. Not signing a player is never a bad outcome. Having him on your cap and not providing value is the only bad outcome. In this case, re-signing Moses has been a far worse ‘decision’ (as if we had any choice) than missing out on Galvin could ever be.

tend to agree - If Galvin goes to any of the other "suitors", it should present some market opportunities for us I think.
