Tbh…. Is it though? He could’ve sat on that deal he was offered until November or at least told the Tigers I’m not negotiating until the end of the season, let’s take it from there.

But he didnt. Last thursday Moses told the club on behalf of Galvin NOT to table the deal because they would not be accepting any deal offered. Shane Richardson rang Galvins dad for two days and Galvins Dad didnt answer or return calls. Richo went to the board and told them and the board told him to go and call Moses again to make sure and Moses re-iterated again that they would not consider any offer.

Not sure what the Tigers are supposed to do after that? Tehy did the right thing, announced that he wont be there and are moving on.

While it’s a shit sandwich for Tigers fans to swallow, the club at least is aware exactly how to plan moving forward from April rather than November.

Yep starting this week. Im looking forward to Latu coming back from injury in a few weeks

Mate I love it. I can see everyones argument about Turuvas post not being too classy but this club had a soft culture for way too long and so see the boys pull together and more importantly close ranks around the coach is great.

If it was just a case of Galvin not wanting to stay, or just wanting to go to Parra or even just wanting more money, Id possibly agree with your opinion on this, but Galvin, through his manager shat on his coach and also shat all over his team mates publicly. When you say that the club "cant develop me" when your coach is one of the most innovative number 6's of all time and your halves partner is a 4 x premiership winning 6,its pretty insulting and Im glad the boys have taken it personally.

When this blew up I was terrified that it was going to undermine the advance we have made in the culture at the club. Im more confident now. Beside the obvious loss of Galvins talent, this seems to be pulling the team together tighter. Will be interesting to see how it effects them on Monday.

I dont remember Luai or Turuva telling Penrith not to bother with an offer 18months before the end of their Contracts, I dont remember either of them going to the media to shit all over their coach or team mates with 18months to go on their Contracts....I do remember Turuva and Luai playing great football and winnin gmultiple premierships and earning a massive Contract upgrade......

I dont see any similarity, but you keep up the cognitive dissonance in the hope he is coming to you (he is).

The club went to Galvin not the other way around to offer him an upgrade. Yes Moses could have said nah let's talk November. But would you rather here now or in another 7 months he wasn't staying so you could start to use the money in other ways.

Strong culture would be ripping his contract next week or max end of the year. If he doesn't believe in the coach, what's the point of keeping him?
