Well done on your 200 games. Now f**k of!
Joe Ofahengaue looks to be gone effective immediately. Also says Sam Tuivaiti set to be resigned.
No one wants Lane or Matterson. With Tigpies paying part of his salary, I guess he was reasonable value whilst he was here.
Is that how easy it is to get rid of some players, just drop them to Reserve Grade? At least JOffa can take a hint I guess.
If we win the spoon
Yeh, but the NBA's rules are far more explicit, comprehensive and wide-ranging than what we know about the NRL's. What part of the NRL's rules explicitly public statements of interest in the status or future of players contracted to another club? The only place perception kicks in for the NRL is in consideration of bringing the game into disrepute.Said it once, said it million times…

Sounds a lot like what Gus said the other day.
There seems to be a prevailing feeling that if he says something grey enough even on prime time TV that he’ll just be able to deny it’s tampering, even if what he says ends up actually working in his favour.
Part of the line of work I’m in, perception is 9 tenths of the law. If a reasonable person could construe your actions in the wrong light, then you are guilty regardless of actual actions or guilt.
This f**ker makes a dual living off the teat of the game. Surely the game can impose some restrictions on him.
How much would we actually have been paying JOffa? Surely Tigpies contributed heavily (and still are)Could we be clearing the decks for some mid-season signing.
Anyone keen to get out of there current club atm we could be interested in.
Been pretty slow news week with contracts.
Money isn't our issue - we need rosters spots freed up.How much would we actually have been paying JOffa? Surely Tigpies contributed heavily (and still are)
Don't be dog whistling for that argument to happen. How much would we actually have been paying JOffa? Surely Tigpies contributed heavily (and still are)
Maybe should have kept Arthur. To be perfectly fair, Moses came to Parra and developed well under the great Brad Arthur so…
A colleague who is a massive Tigers fan was telling me that Galvin holds all the fitness records at the Tigers at age only 19...
If that's true, then - despite the unsavoury way he may have carried himself towards the Tigers club lately - it shows he has a level of professionalism that Tim Smith always lacked.
On the contrary, I think he knew a complete rebuild was required, hence the four year contract.I reckon Ryles didn't know the magnitude of what f**kery he was getting himeself in for but I think he's just decided to ride with it and rip the guts out of the crap thats there.
it's definitely a 2 year project at the very least.

And didn’t say they were part of NRL rules, just that they should be.Yeh, but the NBA's rules are far more explicit, comprehensive and wide-ranging than what we know about the NRL's. More importantly, if perception is 9/10 of the law, and possession is 9/10 of the law, there's only -8/10ths left for other factors to be considered.
I posted this back in August last year.
And i have no doubt part of this weeks events come back to the Tigers feeling pressured they had to offer Galvin big money now otherwise it would been a disaster come November 1 where clubs were lining up to get him.
I could spot it a mile away.
In all honesty its time the game actually grew up.
And made it part of the T&Cs any club official can not have an official media role with broadcasters in the way Gus does with channel 9.
No other sport will allow this to happen where a GM of football of another club could inflate players market values through media roles especially with salary caps involved.
