Appears to be a smart move signing for less to win Premierships at a great club.
Mate they could've even won with Scott Sorensen in the second row. In fact, I'm pretty sure they did. You don't need stars at every position.
Just because someone gets paid a lot of money it means they are good. See David Fifita..
I believe a figure of 750k for Martin when he last signed.
Fifita is the best edge forward in the game. Not the best defender (but still good), however his attack is far ahead of all the others.

Fifita is not even in the top 5 edge forwards in the game. He is the most overrated, overhyped merkin in the NRL. He’s f**king lazy.

After calling Martin overrated, you call Fifita the best? Do you mean Jojo? Cause it certainly ain’t David? Or do you mean the other retired David?

Fifita won’t leave Qld due to his partner, which is why he backfilled on the roosters. Not that we want a $1.2m second rower who is lazy in 80% of his games

bullimore, KPP are 2 I would be targeting. You’d get both for cheaper than Fifita
💯 agree and would be very good/ handy pickups

Fifita is like Dave Taylor. He doesn't care about footy.

I’ve always said they should reward one v one tackles and not ones that have multiple players in tackle. Would help get rid of the wrestle and reduce need for 6 against and go back to penalties only
100%.
Some suggestion I’ve had are, in a one one one tackle allow strips plus it’s not a knock on if the defender strips it and knocks on in the process and/or allow a 3rd marker for play after one on ones.
Or just call it dominant if it’s one on one.
