Fifita on the left with Simonsson and JAC
Samrani right with Penisini and Lomax
Alternatively Fifita, Centre TBA and JAC
Samrani/Kelma with Lomax and Simonsson
2 or 3 astute signings and we are cooking with gas...
I reckon we could get a very good backrower out of Samrani
Kelma if he fixes his defence is our best attacking 2nd rower. Powerful, hard to tackle and hit a hole..

Fafita has the ability...power and size to absolutely kill it at melbourne...if Bellamy doesn't show any interest then I'd take that as a tip
Sorry but what?

How the f**k do you assume for a second Bellamy even cares he was available? How the f**k do you assume, that a bloke wants to move to Melbourne, where he knows no one and is probably the ass of the earth to him?

Sorry but these comments that are said so “matter of fact” are moronic.

A risk we don’t need to take? A club that is running last that doesn’t have a single first grade quality edge forward in the squad can prob take a risk on one of the best edge forwards in the game.
The risk is that we pay that and then after a while he behaves like a big fat baby when he doesn't get his way and we have a very expensive reserve grader.

Fifita is obviously one of the best edge forwards when he is in form. And better then what he have. But paying him $800k plus is to big of a risk. Massive risk, we don't need to take!

Hard pass, unless he is willing to take less!

Look at his numbers in qcup last week. 9 runs for 58m. You can blame halves, you can blame the team around him but just under 6.5m per run that's a woeful attitude. Those 9 runs he should be making double those metres.

It is but he's also going in for ankle surgery...so he may have been completely hampered.
He needs a change of clubs and environment

Relax...I worded it badly but just musing that I'd bet Bellamy would be one who wouldn't be interested no matter his ability. You know how the journos do the rounds of the clubs asking if they'd be interested in a marquee player on the outer?...as with Galvin a couple of weeks ago...Eels said yes...most other clubs said no etc. That's all i meant

Read what the Ipswich coach said, they never had the ball and he put in big time. Made30 odd tackles,no misses and played 80 minutes encouraging the younger players.
Sure , he can be an enigma, but he’s something we don’t have, a game breaker and someone the other side has to watch out for in the second row. If Moses can work with Cartwright m could make Fifita a star.

We don’t, however , with the evidence of the past 4/5 years, it would be encouraging to know that they at least are interested, given there is a fair war chest available .
When he have we ever had a ‘war chest’ in the past four/five years? The last time we had this much free cap space was 2018.

Would have been interesting if they asked Bellamy just after Munster told the club he was signing elsewhere after the Storm had invested so much time in him and expected that he would be there for years. Much like the Eels he would have answered with, yes of course I’m interested in good 5/8s.
