Ben Smith was a great player for us !!!!Simrani was average Joe at Canterbury reserves. The fact that we have signed this type of player previously reflects our position on the ladder, which is what? LAST!
have we stooped that low as a fan base where we can’t recognise a decent player from An average reserve grader?
It’s this type of player (Simrani) that will keep us last.
if the Bulldogs thought he was half decent, Gus would not have let him go. I have nothing against Simrani, sure he’s a nice guy. But he offers nothing like many other plodders in our team.
what’s good about his game? He was exposed defensively as 3/4 many times and now he’s been shifted to the forwards. But what does he bring? Don’t see any line breaking ability, off load / skill nada. Has dropped the ball a few times
People comparing him to Ben Smith, as if Ben Smith was an immortal. Another waste of space.
Again, The fact he and many other average players of his ilk are in our team reflects our position on the ladder. LAST.
He’s also TCT rated, which means for sure he’s overrated.
Kenny, Sterling, Price, Ella, Crowe, Growth etc allBen Smith was a great player for us !!!!
Someone being great for the club, and being “a great of the game ” is a different thing. Ben Smith was a great player for us.Kenny, Sterling, Price, Ella, Crowe, Growth etc all
Great and premiership winners. How many comps did Benny win? These words like superstars and greats get chucked around real loosely.
We don't even have the worst defence any more. In fact it's only slightly worse than the Chooks.GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT SNAKE!
So what games do we miss them for?Congrats to MOMAX making NSW team , hopefully they can talk up Ryles and club to the others to help with recruitment
The Manly game. And the inevitable injuries that Parra players seem to cop during originSo what games do we miss them for?
Steve Sharp won three grand finals for us while Jarryd Hayne won zero. Are premierships really the true measure of a player? Not everyone can have a dozen Origin class teammates.Kenny, Sterling, Price, Ella, Crowe, Growth etc all

by your definition you are not a great player unless you win a comp, which makes every player since 1986 average that’s pulled on our jersey
Disagree, he wasn’t a great of this club. Average at best. He played first grade which was an achievement.Someone being great for the club, and being “a great of the game ” is a different thing. Ben Smith was a great player for us.

I’d take peak Penguin today.Disagree, he wasn’t a great of this club. Average at best. He played first grade which was an achievement.
Here it is…I’d take peak Penguin today.
No point in getting stuck on definition of ‘great’, he was a very solid first grader.
He played too long or maybe his knees got to him, one or the other.
One of my memories of him was against the Dragons at Parramatta Stadium in 2005. He gave it to Gaz that night.
Good player, great nickname.
We’re off the bottom f**kers!
Very unfair comparison, they are generational players, Ben Smith was more than adequate, he would be one of the first picked, more importantly he was passionate about Parra and showed on the fieldKenny, Sterling, Price, Ella, Crowe, Growth etc all
