The point being, Curran was pretty average just like Guyner, took him until 23 or so to be an NRL regular....24 or so until fans took notice of him (after 50 plus games).....players are judged too soon by some....

I’ve been thinking of doing an Ramesque essay post of the binary nature of fan player assessments where players are either good or shit with nothing in between. I’ve felt it’s more poignant for us this season we so many young players, and the likes of Iongi, Russell, Penisini, Samrani, Volkman, Kautoga, Hopgood and Guymer all being labelled shit
