Never said it was a done deal, just "bullish", lot can happen in footy.....
I reckon no one has a clue what's going to happen.

Parra may be confident internally but there is nothing stopping last minute change until he is signed on the dotted line and in a Parra Jersey i won't have any confidence either way and tbh i am not fussed if he doesn't come.

I think it will blow up in the Dogs face if they get him there now.

Laundy offered Tino one of his pubs. Keep that in mind.

I mean......36years is a VERY long time,,,,............I would hate to hang on to anything for that length of time.......like hope. As a Parra fan you'd understand that?

The people that throw the last time a team won a gf usually have just started watching league or are fairweather fans that maybe turn up once in a blue moon..

As hardened fans We all follow our teams win lose or draw.

I’ll be waggling my dick down Church St if we win GF, but if we lose round 1 the following season, it’s all for nought IMO

Its not a headache at all if playmakers dont retire when the club expects them to. The club isnt compelled to extend their Contract and if they have planned the succession they can always let the "old playmaker" go and start the new way. If it gets the point that the younger player isnt ready yet, isnt good enough or its still worth it for the club to extend the old guy, then the succession plan simply didnt work.

As an example, it would be madness for the Tigers to let Api sign at another club to keep TDS, just as Storm never punted Cam Smith for Harry Grant, but Grant was sensible enough to know where his bread was buttered, just as Im sure TDS would be more prepared to take back seat to Api if we were the Storm and not the Tigers.
With Storm stockpiling spine players, Fa'alongo, Wishart, Pezet, etc you'd think they have a second salary cap allowance that nobody else has, wouldn't you?

What if we win the world club challenge.

The greatest team of all-time Penrith are still yet to win it.

Pathetic!

Also on the WCC the NRL and SL need to boost up this game take it to a big stadium somewhere in the world 2 weeks post the NRL GF.

The merkins that played in the GF deserve to play the WCC playing it the following season is dumb when some will be at new clubs.
