But someone posted and i get this, the dogs have luai mates there... Critter, burton, villiame why would he go there
Thats what MONs job is to do. It is a big thing in college football - negatively recruit - point out to the player all the other candidates bad points.

Moving to the Dogs doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense with the shuffling they’d have to do to fit him in.

Would they move Sexton out and run Galvin and Burton?

Move Burton to centre which leaves Xerri out? I guess that would be the best option I can think of. But I think no matter what they do to fit in Galvin it’s going to piss off someone. A proven performer is going to lose out if Galvin signs with them.

The big carrot I guess is the fact they’re already premiership contenders and in what will probably be a pretty big premiership window. Outside of that, it makes no sense to me whatsoever.

If he does go to the Dogs, I really like what I’ve seen from Sandon Smith.

If Galvin and family can't see what ryles is doing at this club and only wants to go to a team that is falsely coming first then it's better he goes elsewhere , ryles is changing everything about this club and if you don't want to jump on his bus and do the crocodile roll there's other clubs out there

They are already moving Sexton on. They haven't resigned him despite negotiations going on for months.

Galvin is headed to the Bulldogs — simple as that. Phil Gould’s not the type to publicly comment so much about how he is the greatest thing since sliced bread , and then make a formal offer everyone knows about, just to get rejected.

When he’s publicly ruled out chasing players in the past, it’s usually after testing the waters first. Then he backs away publicly so it doesn’t look like a loss. That’s his usual play.

Running two 5/8s seems nuts to me but I guess we’ll see how that plays out.
That’s the thing I don’t get. It’s the same as Brown and Sharpe at Newcastle. Both running halves. Even the great Darren Lockyer always looked best when he had a strong game manager inside of him

If we got Galvin this year. We have the chance with some other signings to make a really good fist of next year. If we don’t I’m just feeling like great coaching won’t get us out of the bottom 4 as you can’t be up and playing out of your skin every week.

So what we go for Smith, he comes in 2 years? We have a crap stop gap next year? Essentially, unless we sign some superstars I am very pessimistic about the next 5 years.

He was very complimentary about RCG who ended up at the Titans.

Question. With Dylan Walker adding a different dimension in attack, is it really worth spending almost a $1mil a season on a 6? I’m not saying that Galvin wouldn’t be great, but I won’t be overly worried if we don’t get him.
With a year of footy under his belt, I do wonder if Iongi could fill the 6 role. He has the running game, a great pass and football smarts. My only concern would be his defence. Then perhaps Joash as a fullback?
I think if we are intending to have both of them in the team, one will have to defend in the line (i.e. at 6). Iongi might be the better choice there. He started his pathways career as a five-eighth, but was moved to fullback for a reason. Was it his defence or lack of kicking game? And is Papalii any better?

i Heard he’s a done deal at both clubs…does he have a twin?

the way this is playing/played out We will know within 5 to 10 minutes of him making a call, because the media will be all over it like a rash and as big a merkin as IM he would of rang Parra and said, he wants to go the dogs and I can’t do anything about it, in saying that I’m expecting him to head to belmore simply because we don’t have the people on board to sell the vision or dream to someone like him.
So it wasn't Parra that caused him to knock back $1M+ per year from the Tigers and demand an immediate release?
