Gus has come out and said Lachie Galvin is the best young player he has seen and will be the highest paid player in the history of the game.

Now if that isn't a conflict of interest putting pressure on the Tigers I don't know what is.

It's a disgrace every week he can use his channel 9 podcast every week for agendas.
I said this on August 28 last year.

Should have been bookmarked.

Basically played out as i predicted last year.

Look I’m not even mad about this.
after the improvement I’ve seen in this team over the last few weeks I think we are on the right tracks and the juniors that Ryles as bought in are doing a great job stepping up up.
i also think the money we have for next year onwards would be better spent In the forwards.
it’s all good to blame MON for everything but no one knew the knights were going to offer stupid only to Dylan brown , brown was signed long term so because of that we lost Ethan sanders who isnt getting near first grade at the raiders anyway.
a lot of that isn’t MON’s fault unless he put the clause in Dylan’s contract then it’s all him so he needs to be sacked 😂

I’m just disappointed with Brown not that he took the money, the fact the club stood by him during his whole sexual assault fiasco and I believe he needed to show the club some Loyalty.

I don’t blame brown any, it was stupid money, how could he say no?
the club was crazy giving so many clauses, they just bent over to the player managers . That’s has to stop.

Brown is history mate, and reached his peak…move on, Josh can learn from Moses and play five eight
I have..but can still be disappointed and express the fact I’m more disappointed in Brown who was signed with us and the club backed him. i am not really upset about Galvin who was a tigers player picking the Bulldogs over us. Galvin owes us nothing where as I feel like brown owed the club plenty.

The only positive is like you said I feel Brown has reached his ceiling.

Joash looks like he will be a quality player and could be better than both of them.

it started then

Could argue he was never really coming to Parra

Everything out there was just a decoy (Galvin meeting with parra etc...) so as to deflect possible illegal approach by the Dogs way back

Then you have "Dogs have entered the race..." after parra was in the box seat....is just made up, they started the race last year and Galvin was always going there. Just my thoughts of course...

Guessing we will never know what he was offered, particularly in 3rd party arrangements. Might have been a real easy decision for him … sounds like we had first crack but Managers will always shop around so doesn’t really mean much if we don’t have the ability to offer close to the others (on and off the books) …joining a team coming first, and on the rise would also be compelling for anyone.
Would have been good to get him, for sure, but not the end of the world. Good luck to him.
