Ive never been an AD fan but I have to say this year he has almost converted me. Playing a simple role at centre he has done well for us and has kicked goals at a good rate. I wouldnt be against the Tigers signing him on a cheap rate for a couple of years.

But the Tigers will announce a signing in a couple of weeks which will make his position difficult to sustain.
Cobbo's not going there to play centre.

Every single merkin involved in any administration role in rugby league, and probably 99 percent of players themselves, are self-serving, duplicitous merkins.

You seem to only think that’s the case when it suits a pre-conceived notion based on the mail your mates tell you. Which, as we’ve seen from you frequently, ends up being wrong, either at the time and/or in hindsight.
I have no other language other that English to tell you , yet again, that my knowledge that Parra approached team Galvin after Brown leaving with a deal that prompted Moses to set fire to Lachlans career, came from Isaac Moses through one of the greatest human beings I have ever met and as confirmed in writing in the dossier presented to Richardson and as reported in the media. Confirmed by multiple public sources
When “the great Shane Richardson” tells you about how swimmingly a dinner went and how Mr Galvin Snr is now really happy and the whole family loves Wests and young Lachie wouldn’t want to be anywhere else, you parrot it like a mindless minion. You reckon Richo might have an interest in having people think he’s got everything right where he wants it?
It was proven to be true until Brown left Parra.

You know better than to believe everything you’re told. That’s the nature of the ridiculous soap opera that is rugby league.
Mate the things I was told, were verified by multiple sources, some of which are public. You on the other hand are posting based on emotion.

What I have said is 100% accurate, as painful as it is for Parra fans. He was 100% going to Parra and set fire to the hive for Parra. FWIW I think if he isnt at the Tigers Parra is the best fit for him, but Parra have simply been played by better operators and I am ECSTATIC that Parra's f**kery was not rewarded.

Mate, then Richo is a f**king dunce who got played by a kid and his Andre Ponga-clone dad, and shouldn’t be taken seriously as an administrator.

You seem to think that I have skin in the game as someone who’s finding it ‘painful’ not to be signing Galvin. For me personally, I’ve said he’s got a lot of natural talent but he’s been overhyped from literally his debut, and I remain of that view. I’ve also been very circumspect about the prospect of him signing with us since the moment of the Tigers’ press release saying he’d be gone in 2027 (the whole “he will not be getting an early release” fell by the wayside pretty quickly, didn’t it).

Ultimately, neither of our clubs will have him, and where he’s going may well cause waves in their playing group. The entire situation has been a dumpster fire, potentially with more to come.

If you are trying to say that Russell is normally a ball playing centre and looks to promote his wingers all the time, I don’t agree with you. I hope in our rebuild we can do way better than Sean, as a winger or a centre. Happy for him to hang aroung as a backup, provided he is not blocking pathways.
Russell has 4 LBAs in 6 games at centre this year. Pretty good ratio, though the sample is small and might not be indicative of his general passing ability.

not the facilities that Moses was organising. Coincidentally the facilities that Moses was organising, that are not present at the Tigers and is not present at Parra, are in house at Bulldogs (and Manly for that matter).

He was happy with it.....but by pushing it, and trusting Moses, Parra invited Bulldogs in,,...and it is glorious.
The Bulldogs were interested long ago. Gould made far too many public comments about the player. The fact he requested releases long before Parra were interested is evidence of this. As you say, a monkey doesn't jump out of the tree without a branch to land on. Gould's branch was always dangling out there. This is why we refused to pay overs, just like we refused to match Newcastle's offer for Drown.

You know, the one game in the past two years that either of our clubs has played with a direct and immediate bearing on a final ladder position.
Every game has a direct impact on ladder position, particularly when you follow a club that is only capable of winning 6-8 games a year.

Is that why Galvin asked for a release early last year?
No. He asked for a release early last year because he wanted more money but Richo told him that we were prepared to give it to him if he signed an extension.

If your hypothesis was correct, then he wouldnt have played another 12 months with us.
