He and his team clearly have agency....they were given a rails run to the club that he supported as a kid, that have a a clear vacancy at 5/8, that UPPED their offer, ..............and he didnt want to play for Parra MORE than he didnt want to play for the Tigers........what a hilarious and delicious day....
You dont care about Galvin.

You don't care about Parra.

By my count you were on OUR forum for twelve straight hours with half the posts on each page ...to comment on the signing of a bloke by a THIRD club over our club - and you don't even care that the overhyped star is leaving.

Mighty big of you.

Watched the warrior v raiders game (first neutral game I’ve watched start to finish in years).
It is crazy how they have just given up with the ruck. They don’t call flops at all any more. I counted 23 egregious flops and another 7 50/50 flops.

Galvin was only ever coming to the Eels if Gus was not interested.

Maybe the Eels were smart enough to understand that - hence not getting into a bidding war.
I dont think we were that smart.

You dont have your first grade coach grinning when asked about Galvin multiple times.

We got played off a break.

You dont get involved if its going to make it look like you had pants pulled down.

I think Ryles will learn from that as well after being burned this time.

He probably won't be as open/direct with his answers in the future and look to improve that poker face.

Semi Radradra comes off contract in June. He is 32. I thought he would be older than that.
We should sign him for a couple of years.
Someone will probably say he wants to play in another World Cup.

Jordan miller has had his 600k contract torn up by the Tigers (over 2 years)
After turning up to training late again.
20 years old 6 foot. Just signed with Parramatta on a bargain basement jersey flegg contract.
Lots of potential

Not turning up to training or rocking up late is a great attitude to have in a professional sporting environment.

Was David Nofaluma his mentor.

Mat Thompson or Danny Weidler

#AskGus

We are all well versed in the dark arts of Gus Deception....but this is a whole new ball game.

Usually, he reverses positions months later, but this was an obvious lie from the get-go and he was just so adamant and declaratory....and then mere days later he "changes his mind". Never mind that the media and all fans knew he was in for Galvin from August last year and have been highlighting this both before and after his denials.

The fallout from this is pretty clear - anything Gus says is to be ignored as being either straight out lies or self-serving information.

What ramifications does this have for 100% Footy? Gus is their drawcard as their oracle on all things rugby league....how can anyone take that show seriously?

Or do they just go back to the Footy Show days and abandon any serious footy discussion?

Maybe they can just call it 100% Bullshit?

What's happened since 2023.

Wikipedia has no stats

31 Tries in 109 games reinforces what a shitshow that sport Union is.

Fmd he scored 82 tries in 94 games in the NRL.

Semi sounds like he needed 20 years in that boring arse shit of a sport to get to 82 tries.

So the Tigers won't release him because of his dad but are happy to do the wishes of rival clubs? Do you not see the holes in your story?

Yes I think @Tiger5150 has been hearing a lot of fake news from people and taking it as gospel.

I understand it happens. If it makes him happy that the Eels missed out on the over hyped kid than go for it I am also happy we didn't get him or his Father at the Eels.

Gus has a job with channel 9 for life they ain't sacking him.

And they sure as shit ain't getting him off that panel because Gus draws attention & clicks to everything he says.

The NRL for some reason are intimidated by him.

He can go off and bag referees and officials on that show or in the commentary box and get away with it despite being a GM.

While Coaches are gagged in a press conference to talk about refs.

Go figure

To be fair, the kid was only 19 and claimed he was dealing with a domestic violence issue.
