I think his original post used the words "...when they signed with the Tigers..." so unless they signed him after his debut, then his statement is actually accurate.

EDIT: Tigers signing announced in Jan 2020 for commencing 2021 season. Debuted in 2020 and played 3 games for us (according to Rugby League Project) before joining Tigers. Eels player #807.
