I reckon he's still got plenty to offer. The risk is further injury, and he isn't yet 27.

He was reported to be on about 150k this year and he has played well.
He is clearly a first grade standard player but will not block anyones path.
The signing would also show faith in guys like Lorenzo Talataina and Joash that they could get a shot soon.
Douehi can also play centre and kick goals. I think it would be a good signing at the right price.

Yeah, with the way they're playing footy that should be a very good chance of happening. I still think the Dogs will drop back a bit (or maybe that's just hope).

Unless they cop some serious injuries to key players, Canberra should finish on top.

I doubt any Dogs players are leaving mid-season when they are on the cusp of a potential premiership.

So it will be for 2026 and generally this stuff is left for the off-season.

Roosters & Bulldogs are 2 clubs that will have shuffle some deck chairs around to fit in DCE & Galvin in there cap.

Ryles is being very strategic with who he wants he isn't just going to the shop and buying what's available.

He wants to make sure whoever comes will be right fit for all involved in what he wants to build at the club.

At that price, he wouId be very low risk, with the potential for high reward.

If he turned to "shit" or was injured, $300k is hardly going to stuff our cap.

Tigers will be making him an offer but as a centre/utility but he believes he is a 6. Additionally he choice of new manager doesnt exactly scream "I want to stay at Tigers"
