to be fair..we're definitely not the only club with the trimmings you mentioned but there aren't many like the Broncs, Dogs, Storm and Roosters with a bit of extra spice to help them along..

We also shouldn't be doing full blown rebuilds once or twice a decade either where we bottom out.

When was the last time a tinpot club like Cronulla bottomed out and had multiple rebuilds in a decade.

Ricky when he took them there in 2009/2010 is the only one in the past 20 years.

I don't count 2014 when they won the spoon as a rebuild or bottom out they had that peptide saga and the off-field dramas impacted that season with Flanagan suspended for 12 months and other factors at play.

Comments about criticism of those peanuts I will take on board. The only 2 times I have listened to it all they did was talk about how drunk they were getting to a game and threw f bombs around every second word about all and sundry including players and fans from other teams so forgive me for giving them the same... They have been very critical and very personal about staff at Parra. Maybe they have cleaned it up a bit now they have been given some attention by the club.

I think we can all agree re this season, Its all an absolute shit show currently and not much cause for moving upwards anytime soon the way it feels.

Are we talking about the Parra Plodcast the same buffoons who wanted fans to turn there back on the players and do an embarrassing walk out protest during a game last year.

They even handed out fliers about it at the game i think was against Penrith last year.

I politely told them no i wasn't interested ironically we scored a try in the minute they wanted to protest.

Gee that worked out great.

Though i will argue the reason they created such inflammatory demands was so they could get better access to the club and it has worked.

The club are now bending over for those blokes and letting them inside the inner sanctum a lot more.

I am fed up with how the club has performed since 2022, like most fans.

I also want change to our R&R team. But I also think we just need to wait and see what they recruit for next year before we go off the deep end. It is frustrating though that nothing has been announced yet.

I will say i wanted him 4 years ago but was cautious how he would handle his son .

Thankfully now we didn't go down that path for this very reason.

Its going to end in disaster.

Thank f**k we didn't go for Flanno..

Apart from th nepotism he has Dads army as well..

St George/Illawarra have a fair size nursery but don't seem to be doing much with it..

well there were some massive chest beaters on here that wanted him too...funny that.

I'm more than happy with our selection and in fact it's probably a decent tick from our CEO and chairman to get it done amongst the shit show they've dished up.
