The signing doesn’t make much sense to me. He’s solid but doesn’t strike me as a Ryles style forward at all… old, no leg speed, limited ball playing.

I watch him just about every week mate. It’s not 2018 anymore.

Still a great defender and will add experience. But I think he’s pretty one dimensional with the ball.

I honestly don’t know how he suits our new style of play. Seems like a signing BA would have made to be honest.

According to the article he’s on $350k a season. He’s 34 but I guess was out of the game for a while. I don’t mind it too much at all. One year deal if he doesn’t impress. I see we are looking to extent Joash. That’s good news.

Averages 110m off 9 runs. 35 or so tackles per game at 96% effectiveness (0.67 tackles per minute). Averages 50 minutes a game. We need experience so whilst he may be 34/35 but you can't be a 250 game NRL player at 22.

With those numbers he'll be a starting middle for us
