I'd go with Adelaide. Similar weather, way better venue than Darwin and would draw a decent crowd with the right marketing.
Not sure if that’s an attractive market at all however for the NRL or the club. I know they have done 1 or 2 Origin over time but I think the stats on local attendance vs travelling fans was quite high.

Jim mentioned at the Q&A earlier in the year the club were looking for a new long-term partner for 1 away game each year, but were dealing with the Vegas situation in 27 meaning we couldn't sign a long term deal starting 26.

My guess is we'll be the home team for magic round in 26, the home team at Vegas in 27, and then have a new long term "home away" agreement in place from 2028. Hoping somewhere still rationale for members and fans to travel to - like Coffs Harbour possibly

I'd love Christchurch tbh.
Could get a bit of skiing in as well.

We did have a few year stint in Hamilton in the early 2000s from memory. Can’t remember how fruitful it was results wise. The issue is the NRL would have us playing the warriors there, I have no doubt.

It's way closer to Parra than Darwin. The Adelaide Rams had decent crowd figures in their first season of Super League before taking a dive in their second. At this stage I believe that they could sustain and grow an Eels NRL home game once a year for the short term, done correctly.

I would honestly rather take a home game to Moore Park and maybe try to engage with the wider rich CBD community and more micro level on the female and gay community that the Swans have really gone after.
I'd also combine that with trying to take over the Central Coast which, as I've said before, has weirdly been left for the Roosters to harvest. I like to think it would really f**k with their head if Parra just started an academy there even though they already have one.

Too much noise, have you ever been to Adelaide? They call a potato scallop a potato fritter, and their schooners of beer are 285mls. It can't be that hard. Think outside the square for once....ffs!

I heard the eels are going to be running open try outs on the field to help fill the vacant 6 position.
If we had an Indian player or 2 it would probably increase the fan base by 30k and the crowd by 5k.
The football club should have bollywood themed trivia nights and things of that nature. The club could erect a statue of that singer I mentioned earlier near the stadium. I would go all in. Eels need to be more into this.
