We could be missing both JAC and Lomax through the season with SOO.

You really want to be having some younger players pushing through to CUP when I say young 18-19..

We don't have that this year unfortunately maybe next year..
Yeah well this year is over. Next year we have Bloomfield and Risati who will both be no older than 18, plus Rokosuka, Howlett and Bamblett all turn 19 next year.

But also, why do your backups need to be 18 or 19? The purpose of backups is to help you win games, or more to the point, not lose them. It's why the Broncos had backups like Karapani (23) and Hoeter (31) this year. Not a single teenager played NRL for them. Not even one game. The only teenager who played any games for a top four side this year was Rinakama, who played half a dozen games for the Dogs. If you think having teenagers in your top 30 is the key to success, you obviously don't pay attention to how clubs actually operate. Probably spending too much time trying to be a smartarse.

I do. Every centre and Wing should have the ability to roll the ball into the in goal as they often will have ball in hand on last.
The fact Will and Russel and nearly all our junior backs we've produced aren't capable of this tells me we aren't at the same level of training and development. It isn't just a fluke.
Small details is what wins premierships. Think how only a few wingers used to be able to do the spectacular one handed finishes. Now all just about can.
Coaching and practise.
Russell did a chip and chase this year which ended up being a great try. He is the most improved back we have and I'd pick him before any other centre at the club. He put Staggs in his pocket when he was marking him on the way to our win against them in Brisbane.

Couldn’t agree more. He’s just getting better. He also made a lot of battles against much more fancied opponents this season and dragged them into the gutter putting them off their game.

100% has a crack. Good kid too.

It's definitely not my rule and I'm inclined to believe it's my fault that you misunderstand my point about debut age vs peak age. But then I remember most of these merkins understand these concepts just fine and it's actually you who's the problem.

So both have debuteded 🤔

Don't take it to heart and go on the attack.

Risati is a half.

Your backups could be 82 if they are good enough.
Though you do want to have juniors pushing up in all positions and we lack that in the backline.which we do not...

Howlett isn't making it Rokosuka and Bamblet need a lot of work before moving up to NSW cup.

You have gone off on a huge rant no one expects juniors to be in the top 30 maybe it's time for a bex?

We had Howlett and Rokosuka going into Flegg at 18, it's possible both could be pushing through to Cup next year.

Howlett isn't making CUP.

Rokosuka needs to work on his defense when he played Flegg he allowed a lot of tries by racing in. Though that could be easily fixed with good coaching ( but that's not the coaches job 🤫)

We were talking about depth in the outside backs and you started talking about teenagers in reserve grade. Enjoy your bex.

He made Flegg at 18. Why couldn’t he play NSW Cup at 19? Dudes can have big growth spurts at such a young age.

He knows you don’t always jam in, just like he knows you can’t always stay on your man. It’s a matter of decision making, which just comes from experience.
