I think it’s a good thing we have passed on Garrick (allegedly). He isn’t the type of winger we need. I want either Murray Tuilagi or a Paul Alamoti type. Isaako would also be ideal. Simonsson cannot be relied upon. He is injured again FFS.

I like Alamoti and I'd stick Russell on the bench as an edge forward as his defence has really picked up.

Then again I've never coached an NRL team.

100% it was Ryles coming in with a clean slate and not having anything in comparison to the previous coaching staff.Ryles would be pretty disappointed if we didn't continue to improve
As will the rest of us, as we all probably did looking forward to Hagan’s, Anderson’s, Stuart’s, Kearney’s and Arthurs’s 2nd years. But we don’t know how much, if any, we’ll improve and this year’s results aren’t the guarantee that was being made out to be

Jim said we are a destination club , and MONs phone has been ringing off the hook with player managers offering players.

Like molasses in the winter, things are going slow,as usual. Hope it’s that they are ensuring quality and not reserve graders and projects. Surely not .
maybe it's just me but i get the feeling MON likes to lowball players and his negotiations are so drawn out because he is trying to squeeze managers for the absolute lowest price possible

I wonder how the rotation of ryley and TDS will go next season. Ryley ended the season by far the better hooker but there were a few brief moments with both of them on the field. Will Ryles develop Ryley to play additional positions or TDS? Keen to see how we develop both these young talents with Walker probably fading over the next 2 seasons

And my comment was in response to "The Tigers keep letting go of coaches and don't improve. Cleary and Maguire have both won premierships since leaving Wests so it wasn't the coach, but someone has to be the scapegoat." (Pou pou)

Jason Taylor wasnt in that 9 years, Sheens quit. None of the other coachs were sacked as first grade coach, i.e. none of the others were scapegoats.
What year did Jason Taylor get sacked?

The answer is 3 years too late (edit...I know how accuracy is important here 2 years 6 months) ....the more accurate answer is 8years and 9 months ago.

There you go so 1 sacked in 8.75 years. Feel better pedant? Is 2 in 11 years more acceptable?
