Kelly is another slow plonker reserve grade material. No speed. He’s a 3/4 and not a winger. But we are good at signing reserve graders JIMMY BRINGS SHITTTTT

Brian Kelly isn’t uprooting his life to play reserve grade. If we sign him, pencil him straight into the centres for Round 1 against the Storm. Morgan Harper walked in and got the gig; Kelly will be no different.

The Roosters pick up players like Garrick, while we end up with blokes like Kelly. That’s the reality now. It’s grim, but with our limp recruitment crew, genuine stars won’t come here unless we throw stupid money at them like we did for Foran—or we gamble on someone their old club couldn’t stand, like Lomax, and then inherit all the chaos that comes with his unpredictable headspace.

I like the idea of signing Brian Kelly (for the right price).
Aboriginal players always seem to lift at Parramatta. A group of 3 of them really could be a good thing.

Reports are that the Roosters are paying 650 for Garrick. f**k. That.

Kelly has played 5 reserve grade games since 2016, while he has also played 190 NRL games in that time.

Yeah he isn't elite or as good as Lomax. But he is a pretty decent experienced NRL back. Exactly what we have been looking for.

For the right price, he will be a good signing (also is Matterson to Titans back on as a swap?). Adds experience, depth and competition, but should not be that expensive, that it doesn't matter if he plays NSW cup. While he won't block a junior.

I don't think we were ever going to sign or target an elite back. From when Lomax was released in an interview MON (or Jim), mentioned it gives us the opportunity to assess how we spend our cap and "realign" it.

Additionally I suspect Ryles is more happy/confident with the rookie backs in the squad than we realise.

Even if Brian Kelly has never been a goal kicker in his life I bet he is an upgrade on Lomax as a goal kicker. Amiright?

Who would you be happy with?
Imo if were going to go with someone like kelly who doesnt seem to be an upgrade on current starters might as well just rely on our pathways for back up outside backs aka nanva or renisini. I do think we should go hard for murray taulagi though

We granted him a release from his contract with the condition & stipulation of the early release he couldn't play for another NRL club until 2029 when his 4 year contract parramatta finished unless we forgo that right down the track.

Perth can talk to him but under the terms of agreement he can't play for another club until 2029 unless we remove the terms of the release and grant permission for Zac to play for another club.

Now we could very do so but what are we getting back for that.

Perth have f**k all to offer us in players. There struggling themselves.

Transfer fee actually means nothing we don't get extra cap money to spend on other players.

I think most fans will be rightly fuming if we roll over and let Zac walk into another NRL Club before 2029 unless its advantageous to us like getting a quality calibre player in return doesn't have to be a winger but someone of rep quality from the club that Zac wants to end up at.

Like most of have said he chose this path & now he can rot in Rugby for 3 years.
This is Parra. What could go wrong?

If we were so keen on getting Titans cast offs

I personally reckon Phil Sami would have been a better fit.

Plays wing but can play centre so offers more flexibility and a decent enough ball carrier to cart it out and offers a bit of swagger.

Where Brian Kelly can't play wing.

Plus Kelly's hands are worse then Will Penisini's

Everytime i watch a Titans game Brian Kelly makes a dumb error either through dropping the ball or gives away a stupid penalty.
Is he better than wonga? Can we play fletcher at centre
