Believe the big problem is that the club is run like a Balmain based entity when the real strength is in the South West around Campbelltown, the need to develop its junior area is obvious, but they love Leichhardt Oval and dont see much beyond there.

Not sure the HBG is all at fault, possibly they became the circuit breaker to move their COE to Campbelltown.

I don’t think it’s run like Balmain entity I think west Ashfield don’t mind being based at Leichhardt/ inner west. I think that wests ashfield board does all the shit it’s being doing as the club is seen as Balmain even tho wests own the joint . Even when 50/50 it was seen as Balmain team,

They are known as tigers , media talks to tigers legends basically , the wests side is never acknowledged.. and you got fans organising rallies that would jump ship immediately and support a merged easts brisbane tigers with Balmain (along with majority that will attend that rally). They should just dissolve the joint venture so they can actually move forward.

The Wests Tigers Centre of Rugby League has been officially opened today, following the completion of the project in partnership with Western Sydney University.
