Yeah Lazy is the word. He’s big body but gets dominated.

I agree he needs to get more involved. Also needs to work on defence. But he is only 19.

But regarding getting dominated, this is a good example where the "eye test" (assuming that is how you determined that), isn't supported by stats. Stats actually show, he is a pretty "powerful" forward and does not get dominated.

He played 7 NSW cup games averaging 6 runs for 58 m, 24 pc.

Breaking this down, he averaged 10.49 metres a run and 41% of his metres are post contact. That's pretty good, hardly an indicator of being dominated (also factoring in, he is only 19). It's no wonder, the club rate him.

Petrus is a goer still not a huge body yet but still gives 100%. Should have been given time with the NRL team during this pre season..

30-40%, but they are normally in response to someone antagonising him. If you look at his tone and compare it to Hineyrulz, Avenger or even Bandwagon I think it’s pretty mild.

People like Pou and Gronk might rub people up the wrong way with what they say, but they cop an absolute shit tonne of abuse from people on here. A lot of circle jerk pile ons.

Well yeah. And as you've mentioned before the best players are in NRL by 20yrs old. Backs usually by 18/19. Kitone was 22.

I’ve read the same conversation and wondered where the f**k you got that idea. Sometimes it feels like a case of emotion v logic. Not always, but it’s a pattern.

I’m not immune from it either. Don’t know if you’ve ever re-read exchanges on here? I find it enlightening because there is a record as opposed to a face-to-face conversation where you quickly forget the details.

I reckon TONE is quite hard to determine via something someone's typed including sms/txts. And even harder when you haven't met the person like most people we interact with on here. Sarcasm, joking and banter is easily mistaken as insults or being a smart arse , bully etc.

I call it the Aaron Woods effect. There area heap of players who ( I think intentionally) adopt an unusual/weird hairstyle because it makes them noticeable on the field and their fame/reputation is increased as a result. I reckon you can add Josh Curran in this list of players who would remain relatively obscure otherwise.

It’s not for me to judge who “owned” who — I’m simply calling out nonsense when I see it. If you agree with it, that’s your right. Everyone gets a say here in the court of public opinion, but only a select few have earned the title of registered f**kwit. And I’d have no issue telling them exactly that in person — aquarium or otherwise.
