Everyone is pissing in this pool. You’re just cranky I’ve been eating asparagus. That would be like pissing in a public pool. I doubt others would be happy

I’m the one accused of making arguments I don’t agree with, or playing devil’s advocate. You’re barking up the wrong tree.
Yes but if we were lean on space this year, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think we may be lean on space next year. We’ve only got 1 Ryan Matterson and you don’t want to replace every departing player with a worse player.Koloamatangi was for 2027 when we would have loads of cap space. So much that we might have intended to backend any shortfall for Coates/Utoikamanu/whomever into those later years.
That analogy was like a raccoon with an eye patch fireman-carrying a mannequin out of a burning McDonalds. That would be like pissing in a public pool. I doubt others would be happy
Well you can be a Mcgrumpy puss as well sometimes.lighten up ffs
I was on board with the Fox signing, good to see i got one right.
And i thought it was Gutful FFS!!Everyone is pissing in this pool. You’re just cranky I’ve been eating asparagus.
I think he's more the Baby Ruth type of merkin, mate. And i thought it was Gutful FFS!!
He's a quality reserve grader. Exactly the type of player who should be a backup in the top 30.not necessarily...
our outside back stocks have been gash for quite sometime and it still isn't great despite Kelly's signing, otherwise we wouldn't be handing a T30 spot for a park footballer in his mid 20's..
Here I was thinking coaches did all the recruitment. You merkins lied to me.Moses also revealed that the first contact between Melbourne and Parramatta had been via Storm chair Matt Tripp to Beach on December 29.
Yeah that could conceivably also be a factor. The salary cap is a whole new can of worms. But either way I'm sure we don't want him back.Side note maybe we dont need to pay him what we were originally paying him but surely matching his proposed storm salary right. Im assuming its less than what we were giving him but just speculation
Wenty calls.Yeah that could conceivably also be a factor. The salary cap is a whole new can of worms. But either way I'm sure we don't want him back.
And we are all speculating mate. It's assumed that's what you're doing.
Still can't see ticket sales open on NRL site.Me too. I'll be the one in the Eels jersey. I believe tickets have finally gone on sale?
MATE I AM VERY f**kING CROSS!Never said that, no need to get angry.
That's a reasonable point. But I think we have been desperate to get rid of Matterson's salary, and wouldn't want to compound it by adding another top 17 contract outside the top 17. By this I mean we would (imo) already have Wenisini, JAC, Russell and Simonsson on the type of money you pay to a starting player. Having just one of Lomax/Kelly pushes somebody to reserve grade. Having both of them pushes two out.You were saying we should not have over paid players in reserve grade so we would not have signed kelly if lomax stayed. I am saying yes we would have, due to a - having plenty of cap room b - poor outside back depth c - we already have a player on 700k in reserve grade so potentially having 1 or 2 on 300k doesnt seem to be a big deal to the club.
*ms-dosWhen you realise that Pou operates on logic rather than emotion it’s easy to understand where he’s coming from in his posts.
Surely there's rules against financial inducements towards players you are trying to sign.
