Yeah if he gets his metres up and still gets around the field as well as he does now and his tackles don't drop off then he will be a gun. Very early days still, but as you can tell from my new Avatar I am cheering him on big time.

@Twizzle As for my problems with loading my new Avatar, it wasn't liking the file type, even though they were all jpgs and size was within the min 400x400 requirement. I ended up using a png and it worked, but not the same Sam T picture though.

Makasini is a hugely exciting talent and may be a generational player. I like to see players stay at the club that’s invested in their development and gave them an NRL opportunity. Sadly history tells us that doesn’t always happen in reality.

Parra is definitely trying to develop its own and seemingly has a strong intent and conviction to being a development club. We have a crop of exciting prospects emerging from our development pathways. For those that go on to make it in the NRL, Parra will have the same challenge (as the Tigers and others) in retaining them from those clubs that notoriously poach the elite from less financially backed clubs.

Roosters because Nick loves a shiny toy and he will get jack of Billy smith - and he will need to spend the rest of Sonny bills money on the cap

Broncos because they will be able to afford him and he will want to play with Reece Walsh or “insert superstar here”….or he will want to go “home” because he once went to Dreamworld as a kid….

The actual trajectory will be this:

2026 he will do some amazing things and make some errors just as a prodigy does

2027 he will start like the superstar he is but struggle with a few injuries

2028 he will start agitating for spine money and complain he is stuck behind Attard/Bula/next man up…end of 28 he will seek and be granted a release and tigers fans will say he was toxic off field and that he had to really make way for the real superstar junior coming through - maybe someone named Hared Jaywood….
