Bronson Xerri has asked for an immediate release.

Do we have anyone better than Tanner Boyd that can play in the halves from a junior perspective coming through? I get potential but I ask the question for those who are more in the know than most of us. Do we have any juniors coming through that can play as well as Boyd can in the next 2 or 3 years.
I have been a fan of Boyd's from his debut year, but then he just yoyo'ed way to much and hasn't fulfilled his great potential, but now finally at the Warriors, playing in a well balanced team and great coaching I think he has finally turned the corner.
We could do a lot worse than putting him along side Moses over the next few years. They would make a great combination and really strengthen our playmaking side of things without having to gamble on juniors at this point. He is off contract this year and considering how many quality halves the Warriors now have, he could be a steal.
Oh and has anyone watched how good their other young 5/8th Taine Tuaupiki is? What an attacking weapon he is.
Agree - but far better than our centresI think he’s been solid without being great since he’s come back.
Pretty sure he’s agreed to a long term deal, or had at least confirmed to the club he doesn’t want to leaveCan we sign Perdue!
Surely he isnt going to do a Lomax and leave before he has a new deal on the table.Canterbury centre Bronson Xerri is poised to ask for an immediate release.
Xerri, who joined Canterbury in 2024, is unsettled at Belmore after being shifted to right centre this season.
It is unknown whether there are other reasons behind Xerri’s looming departure.
Xerri was part of Canterbury’s round one side which defeated St George Illawarra during golden point in Las Vegas.
The Bulldogs have a round two bye.
It is becoming increasingly likely that Xerri has played his last game for Canterbury.
The Bulldogs haven’t yet formally released Xerri but are certain to approve his request.
Xerri joined the Bulldogs after completing a four-year drug suspension and has quickly established himself as one of the NRL’s elite centres.
Canterbury captain Stephen Crichton plays left centre.
Well unless released he doesn’t have permission to negotiate with anyoneSurely he isnt going to do a Lomax and leave before he has a new deal on the table.
But he can have a casual chat.Well unless released he doesn’t have permission to negotiate with anyone
If swapping sides is enough for him to ask to be released then I would be treading with caution with this merkin. But he would be an excellent replacement for the Love MuscleYes to Xerri for me
Maybe he has come to realise how toxic the club, the GM and the fans are....heard he has really turned his life around and a regular church goer.If swapping sides is enough for him to ask to be released then I would be treading with caution with this merkin. But he would be an excellent replacement for the Love Muscle
Paulo is much better than Weston. So is Utoikamanu.I'd say Tui is our best home-grown big forward since Dallas Weston. I'd be upset if we lost him.
Agree on Both frontsIf swapping sides is enough for him to ask to be released then I would be treading with caution with this merkin. But he would be an excellent replacement for the Love Muscle
Well in that case, welcome, Merkin.Maybe he has come to realise how toxic the club, the GM and the fams are....heard he has really turned his life around and a regular church goer.
If possible id get him now and play love muscle right wing or centre
Hopgood is heaps better than Moretti.I would not be extending Hopgood, I would give his money to Moretti if he string a season together!!
His manager certainly can. I doubt he's requested a release without another job lined up.But he can have a casual chat.
