Cleary to PNG...

Penrith are going hard to win the next 2 premierships as Cleary Yeo Martin Too Leota will most likely be replaced in 28 with Nathan taking the non taxed cash for 5 seasons probably on 2 million a year..

I'll add

He will marry Mary within 3 years, and declare allegiance to PNG national side during his honeymoon...

Their first son will be named Solomon

Assuming Nathan goes to PNG and Ryles doesn’t improve us do we go all out for Ivan Cleary as our coach in 2028?

Cleary isnt going to PNG hahaha
He has no kids, his missus plays football in the europe - so he's going to go into a compound where the only people he can hang out with are his teammates - most of whom will have families with them? No chance.
The only people signing with PNG are families who see themselves setting up the lives with the tax free dollars, and people looking for a chance they cant get in Australia.
Cleary earns millions here.
Munster i could see possibly considering it mainly because he's won a title already, family can go with him, and he and the coach are managed by Anasta

Yeah I doubt families with kids will want to be stuck in a compound for 3 years at minimum. It will be great for the first few months but it will get boring pretty fast....

They should bring in the camera and make a documentary out of it... there will be so much bithcing with the wives...

Cleary earns millions here yes and is taxed like crazy. He could almost get 1.5 to 1.7 a season at PNG..

Munster is resiging with the Storm.

I think Ivan will end up at Manly, I believe he is back living on the Northern Beaches.

Would be surprised if they haven't already made enquiries.

Why would players with familes go there? Surely it would be a more attractive option if you didnt have kids?

Why would he bother going to Manly

Tommy Turbo is nearly 30 past his peak.

They have an instable board & chairman.

They are already are making budget cuts with staff members. So budget is clearly hitting the owners back pocket.

Ivan would need close 2mill to want to leave Penrith to Manly i reckon.

It was laughable Ritchie keeps talking about Poniessi to keep his quota exclusive for the week.

Ponessi will need to be given all the land from Warriewood to Palm Beach to convince him to go to Manly.

Ponessi just came out and said thanks but no thanks..

Cleary will build Penrith with the rest of the staff to be version 2.0.

Two more candidates have thrown their names in the ring for the Manly Sea Eagles head coaching role following the sacking of Anthony Seibold.

While Kieran Foran has taken over the head coaching reins on an interim basis, several names have been linked to become the new head coach of the Sea Eagles.

This includes former NRL head coach Brad Arthur, ex-Sea Eagles assistant Michael Ennis, Queensland Maroons assistant coach Matt Ballin, PNG Kumuls head coach Jason Demetriou, Dragons assistant Dean Young, Rabbitohs assistant Ben Hornby and Manly legend Geoff Toovey.

Now, two more names have emerged as potential contenders.

Speaking on 100% Footy, Paul Gallen revealed that former New Zealand Kiwis captain Nathan Cayless has decided to throw his hat in the rinG.
