Huh are you responding to the correct post
It's too soon to decide who has the weakest roster and who doesn't. The oldest and youngest players in each roster are still relative unknowns, because we don't yet know how much the oldest players have declined since last year, and we don't know how much the youngest players have improved. You might say wElL i SaW tHeM oVeR fOuR gAmEs AnD tHeY wErE sHiT!!! but four games is a very small sample, and it's important for this reason:

Every club has had a very different draw over the four rounds. Some clubs would've had mostly strong opponents while others would have faced mostly weak opposition. Some clubs (e.g. Broncos) would likely have faced four straight opponents fired up to knock off the premiers, while another club might have been lucky enough to catch all four opponents on their day off. If not all four, then even three of their opponents having an off day would skew their results. It's nearly impossible over 24 games for a team to get all (or even most) of their 24 opponents on a bad day, but over four games it is far more likely. Over 24 games we won't be playing the top three premiership favourites 75% of the time, but after four games, that's exactly what has happened: https://www.sportsbet.com.au/betting/rugby-league/nrl

No it is not... You are looking at it incorrectly..It's not who came last = they are the worst roster..
We have also seen a majority of teams Roster play over the past few seasons.

Players getting injured is part of the game, foul play or not. The player who commits the crime does the time via the judiciary system which is always inconsistent anyway. The NRL have changed the rules and the game is a lot quicker resulting in more injuries and penalties.

Would this even be an article if it wasn’t a Parra player. I don’t even believe the Kenny tackle was a hip drop.

I think the idea of something like an Injured Reserve that the NFL does has merit - imaging losing a key player for the season due to injury? It would suck.

Not that our injured guys are key players.

Having a system in place to allow a club to replace this player on their roster would be neat.

So now Luke Keary is doing league coverage on Fox. The NRL needs to step in about the link between Fox and the Roosters. I'd say 75% of commentators played with the Roosters.

2001 was the last time we had a team the conceded less than 16 points per game.

2005 we had 19ppg and had the best defence..

1999 we had just over 12 points per games against.. The season that was really.. We win that competition it all probably changes.

1998 14.5ppg
People often overlook that 1999 was probably our biggest missed opportunity, we had the Storm on toast and bombed so many tries that second half. We also had the Dragons number.

My point is the younger and older players aren't the same from year to year. Youngsters can have a breakout season while the oldies can hit the wall in the space of a preseason.

We already have a 30 man roster for a 17/19 man game day squad. How many backups does a club need? And where would they come from? All the other clubs need their backups.

Ok cool doesn't really matter though on how crap our squad is compared to the other 16 sides...

Hip drop. Not a horrible one. Plenty similar get let go. Injury unfortunate I agree. If it was intentional and worse id say salary cap compensation is fair. I dont think this was in that category

Oh please , take the tinfoil hat off, I’m sure if a middle of the road player like Keary played for Parramatta he’d have had an equally good chance of landing a lucrative opportunity with FOX ……..
