Describing it in terms of whether a team 'can win' is intellectually dishonest. Every team 'can win' and also 'can lose' - the best team this year will lose games and the worst team will (probably) win some. What matters is win rate, and this is negatively impacted by unavailable players.

And yet you have given up on your team already because of injuries. Are all Parra fans as soft as you?
Speaking of intellectually dishonest, I said 3 first graders, and you know I did but you intentionally ignore it because you have no honour or values. Over and over you prove yourself not worthy of a discussion. Simply a merkin.

To be fair, which is rare position I take with regards to MON, Russel was offered representative level money for 4 years - well above the money he would ever get at any other club in the NRL. He salary is more than doubling to what we pay him
Fair comment if you trust then to sign Players that are rep standard as replacements, past history says unlikely . So you fill in with reserve graders again

I don't see what "all Parra fans" have to do with it.

Your attempt to ignore the loss of depth players is why you're dishonest. When you lose good depth, you're stuck relying on weaker depth, like starting Josh Rogers at hooker, or Hayze Perham defending anywhere in your backline. Anyway they had at least five members of their top 17 unavailable.

That would explain 3 or your 14 injuries.

What about?
  • Richard Penisini (knee, Round 8)
  • Jonah Pezet (hamstring, Round 11-12)
  • Jordan Samrani (knee, Round 13)
  • Kitione Kautoga (knee, Round 13)
  • Apa Twidle (shoulder, Round 15)
  • Arthur Miller-Stephen (ACL, 2026)
  • J'maine Hopgood (ACL, 2027)
  • Matt Doorey (ACL, 2027)
Hopgood was a hip drop too. The rest were unlucky.

to @Parrapat , Parra on the right side of the penalties 5-2....Parra the new NRL darlings?

To everyone else but Pou......fantastic and gutsy win to you guys today. Well done and great win. You guys should be very proud of your guys today. Keep that up and they will win many more, but dont let Pou back on the bandwagon if it happens. He gave up after 5 weeks and is a merkin.
I've given up on making the eight, not on winning any given game.

Look at those 6 agains, only the two and both of them against us.

That was one of the greatest refereeing performances in the NRL era taking us back to the greatest days of rugby league when footy was played and men were men. Liam Kennedy, take a bow.

May the rest of the refs take their lead from you. The 6 again is dead, long live the penalty!
It allowed Paulo, Walker and JDB to stay effective today. Long may it continue.
