Don't know how we got rid of the HOF at the same time because as you said only the smart clubs do this when that person has also been an abject failure. We are probably scrambling behind closed doors to rectify this error and re-appoint him to an even more important role.
We are going okay relative to low expectations. We could easily finish the season with more wins than last season. If we finish 10th from here, I will be calling it a not to bad season.

Ermmmm.....then that would mean your team has been better than mine since 2018?
Not me. I've been realistic. Around 8th - 9th would be a great achievement and is still very much in play especially if we start getting some players back like Iongi, Russell, Tui and if Moses continues to stay healthy.
Who are these merkins? Nearly every persons prediction i read said we'd finish in that bunch of 4-6 teams challenging for the bottom of the 8 - so 7th to 12th. Realistically, we probably are still in that group, albeit hampered by our horrible F&A
We are an underperforming club for the resources, nursery and potential we have. no doubt. We have a shallow roster, but so do many clubs (Storm appear to be in a similar position). If our injury curse to start this year was even marginally better - say we had 2 of our long term outs still in the team - we more that likely win the Tigers game, and the Titans game likely doesnt see the result blown out like it did. If we were sitting 4/3 now with a 30 point better F+A then i don't think we'd be saying we are a shit club with shit roster.
He’s a good option going forward for the six man bench. But I’m not sure he’s ever going to be more than a halves or fullback backup.
The only thing powerhouse out Parra way is the museum. I expect us to get reamed again some more during the rest of '26 with a few wins thrown in to keep us plebs interested. If they persist with the set restart rule then we better bring out the lube.
I reckon we didn’t challenge it because it would’ve met the very low bar for high contact. For every one they ping, there’s probably three they let go.
What would’ve been interesting is if they did challenge it, shows Tuivati didn’t hit high but TDS is, same result but would we retain challenge given it wasn’t what the ref called?
He’s definitely not a centre and only ever going to be a backup fullback in the NRL. He is either happy to be a backup at any NRL club or he heads to England where he could probably start.
Bench Hooker and utility and backup is the only place i see him fitting.
Great utility on the bench with tired, retreating defences.
