The NRL came in last year and this year and did and AUDIT.
They did not find any wrong doing. It is partially there fault. The fact is they would know every other club is doing it. I doubt the NRL care.But the Media do and the NRL will need to shut them up.

So, it's the NRL's fault that they didn't catch us earlier (assuming, of course that we have actually done something wrong)? They found plenty of other earlier 'wrong doing'. An audit can only provide a degree of assurance, and the auditor has no power to force people outside the club to talk to him. If there are undisclosed side-deals, the auditor won't find them unless someone talks up.

I still find it interesting that this is an ongoing investigation yet there seems to be so much speaking going on from the people completing the investigation.

Yep, the first statement they put out last week I believe was also suggesting that the media reporting was putting into question the integrity of the NRL investigation.

Haven't followed everything but could all the leaks have come from our own rat, in an effort to force the NRL to act on a matter they would otherwise like to sweep under the carpet?

The club should issue a blanket ban to all players and coaches to not speak to any DT reporters. The club should show some balls. I know it seems petty, and they will give it us over it but honestly we sell papers and that would f**k them up if they can't speak to anyone from one of the currently best performing sides.

I'd go as far as to exclude any employee of the club, except for the CEO, answer any question from any media outlet, including DT, Foxtel and the SMH.

If Sticky can tell a journalist three weeks ago that "I have to come to this conference, but I don't have to answer any questions from you" to a particular journo, but then recieve no reprimand, then a precedent has been set

A complete Black Ban on all external media is a start. The Club needs to set the agenda, not have it set by others.

The club has clout, it just needs to be able to manipulate it's clout in the best possible ways.

Some part of the Mossop story has been around for a while....can't remember how long ago it was, but there was a story of an investigation into a termination payment to him some time ago.

. Certainly the club can no longer afford to pay for players like Mossop, who must surely rank among the worst buys in Parramatta history.

Signed midway though 2013, the English international arrived shortly before Christmas to reveal that, well, he had a bung shoulder which would keep him out for up to three months.

Then when, finally, Mossop did return, he lasted three games ... then stuffed a shoulder again.

And still the club is paying him now ? while he plays in the English Super League with Wigan.

It can't be the NRL. The info leaked re semi was all wrong. Major smear campgaine against us whoever it is. And many are just jumping on the bandwagon.

After years of bs, we finally assemble a team capable of pushing the top 8. It's amazing we are winning. Hats off to BA and his men.
