I sincerely hope they are people with very strong personalities cos running our club with all the shit hanging around is a tough proposition and has the potential to wear anyone down

It will definitely takes a special breed of person or people no doubt about it

Have a read of Roy Masters' article on this in yesterday's (9.4.'16) SMH.
:lol::lol: That was the biggest piece of shit article written so far about the whole scandal, the senile old prick has hated our club since we murdered his plodders in the 80's. Thanks for proving you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

It won't happen. The NRL wants the Eels to do well. No way they will kill our season when it's the first one since 2009 where we have a realistic chance of winning a Comp. Ratings will absolutely die is we are to be the Melbourne of 2010.
But in the big ratings picture the NRL in 2010 would not have wanted to risk ratings fallout in a Victorian market where it was still trying to build a strong footprint. As much as I agree Parramatta is a major drawcard in all aspects of media, unfortunately I don't believe that will be enough for the ratings factor to impact on the NRL decision, whatever that may be.
What Melbourne did was outright larceny; all we are guilty of is outright stupidity.
And the end of the day , it doesn't matter whether Parramatta are doing well or in the crapper, we all know this great club will ALWAYS draw massive media attention so the NRL won't care whether the penalty is four points or 44 points.

John Grant couldn't give two f**ks about any team in Sydney's west

he does however want the Roosters to be competitive

4 points....that's optimistic. Precedent set.....Dogs lost 38 points. Melbourne played an entire season for no points.

Bulldogs and Storm were also over the cap in the year that they were caught, hence why they lost points/couldn't gain any. Everything that has come out about our situation has been that we're right from 2015 onwards.

But if there are TPAs deemed illegal, then theoretically you could put their value on our cap and tada, over ... but i cant see use being anywhere in the vacinity of the dogs and storm amounts over

Step in the right direction, but hardly much impact in his running game even though his metres were better.

He is the sort of player that should be skittling the defenders regularly not boring old hitups that barely dent the line and slow play the balls.

I'm still not impressed. Like I said time will tell.

It is also up to the coach and his play makers to know how to use him. It is not up to a 20yld to be saying give me a nice ball running wide close to the line when we are one on one situations ( the type of Ball Manu gets )
Foran is just working out how to use Jnr properly. They need to use Tepai more as an attacking weapon. It is hugely up to the halves and coachin during the week to how many attacking raid Tepai gets involved in.

Raaaaay said it on Friday with delight and a gloating attitude, he is such a bellend on the club, still don't understand hy Dyldam don't withdraw their advertising from the dope.

Always starts his show with a party political broadcast on behalf of the emperor

Someone said Raaaay was saying that the punishment would ensure we don't make the 8.

Then I would be playing our 2nd string team for the rest of the year. No point risking injury and helping out the nrl and Channel 9 with good crowd and tv ratings

That's right, in fact I believe the storm were even forecast to be over the cap again the next season or 2 as well.
Bulldogs and Storm cases are they different to ours if you believe what's written we have tries to hide some 3rd party deals they weren't at arms length to the club meaning they should count under the cap. We should be fined for the amounts in question plus lose 4pts as they were suspended from the investigation in our governance.
Anything more than that and we are cap compliant for this year and going forward then the club may have grounds to appeal In the courts.
