I've just heard a rumour that junior was only offered 500k a year by the raiders. If true it makes me wonder about the length and absolute stupidity of offering Watmough a 4 year deal. Should've been 2 years max.

Why the f**k would you drop a player to reserve grade in Week 2 of a season, just because he has signed elsewhere? Pick em on form and effort. If it turns out that in Week 20 we can't make the finals, you might want to prefer blooding a young bloke.

It just buggers me, mate. It's not as if the guy has said 'I hate you all and don't want to be here' (that would be different). Players have a limited time in the game, and often below average post-retirements options. Sometimes they just have to take the money/

Early chance for post of the year. Could not agree more with it.

BA will be able to tell if Junior's head is no longer with us and will drop him accordingly (hopefully). He did similar with Sandow

He'll be a huge loss for the club, very disappointed to lose him but at 750k thats just crazy money. Scott or Bromich aren't on that sort of cash. Hope to see him back in the blue and gold one day.

Why wouldn't Junior take that sort of money? It's nuts.
It takes the likes of us 10 years to earn that.
Good on him I say. I've got no hard feelings towards the bloke. We'll find another Junior elsewhere at some stage.
As for the hate...........lol.
