Agreed, why does he expect any special treatment???Why should an entire squad be disrupted for one person? You are playing a game that requires you to be available every day of the week, it's not like you didn't know that.
Just wants the best of both worlds.......
They don't observe Lent, Ash Wednesday or Good Friday.Do Mormons believe in good Friday anyone?

What I find interesting is he comes out with it now but not when he is negotiating his contract. And I know Des is being very supportive but I'd put money on him being pissed privately

We have quite a number of footballers who are religious and could very well hold similar beliefs. I understand why they said no to his request. Bulldogs agreed to it. They have Morris to come back and it won't really make a lot of difference for them.
There used to be a Jewish racehorse (Stargazer? Shaftesbury Avenue?) that didn't want to race on Saturdays. Or maybe it was his owners.
It was reported earlier that des knew. But the team was never informed.
Surely they got him cheap because des knew about this
Before the contract was negotiated?
Yes. Look for the one of the first articles posted. I'm sure it said des always knew.
I don't think hoppa would be stupid enough to mention it to his coach or club now.
