How he was even considered best man for the job defies logic. Madge in one season fixed the mess Daley and Fitler had presented him beforehand ,then it only took Daley the dribbling mess one season to f##k it up again for QLD's liking.

Hope and Murray sign on for 2026

Murray ..I didn’t notice him when he played.. was he hooker or a loose forward? Api? I think Richo will leave as long as possible .. just to make sure he’s capable of top class games consistently without looking like he needs a respirator.. his logic might be Benji may go before api needs to resign.. again do we need to spend big bucks on these 2 “stars” let’s see api in action as long as possible first. He’s getting at least $750k (not sure what portion of that is for respirators)

I did see Murray come onto the field..such a beautiful family sacrafice blah blah I excepted something better..as I think vic mentioned a while back.. we need these Av players coz they’re cheep as and everyone’s got them and they fill a gap.. Maybe he’s better than that. Hopefully not another token gesture wt development player for the media

Hope’s not a Benchie. He’s played 3 NRL games, showing lots of promise. His length of time in the game is where that laser pass came from. You don’t just pick that up. He hasn’t even settled in yet

I like Hope, I've said that a thousand times. My reference to him being a benchie means he is a sub. He's not up there with Api, not after 3 NRL games anyway.
He'll be good for us as we'll burn Api out without a good player to give him a rest.
