Walker would b ideal but would Hasler release him after allowing Kelly to return to Titans.

If he's not happy they may let him go. Aren't they in cap strife as well? They may let Walker go to keep Taupau?

Didn't realise Kelly was released. Didn't we make an offer that was all but done until Manly took up an option?

One problem area that seems not to be a concern of the clubis goal kicker. Masters is not a NRL standard goal kicker and it the only other candidate is Mybe and I would not rate him any better.

When your a boarder line top 8 team you need a sharp shooter to jag you a couple of extra wins. Of course you need one to be on the market to be able to sign them

WT2K you have to think with some decent coaching there is a first grade quality pack in that lot.

Definitely a pack that can compete with any in the comp.

I know everyone will have variations but this is a guess:

8. Packer
9. Farah
10. Matulino
11. Lawrence
12. Matterson
13. Taylor

14. Twal
15. Musgrove
16. MCK/Garner
17. Liddle/Benji/Reynolds

Then nsw Cup:

8. Aloiai
9. Liddle/Luke
10. Mikaele
11. Garner/MCK
12. McQueen
13. Eisenhuth

14. Clarke
15. McIntyre
16. Rochow

Everyone in that nsw Cup pack is capable if needed

Got a feeling that Twal will be the starting 13...

New coach likes big packs..

I wouldn’t be entirely surprised to see Taylor moved on by the start of the season..
Agree, think twal could be our 13 (I'd love to see it) Taylor probably the easiest to move on instead of mcqueen/rochow types.

I also expect Twal to be at 13.

And perhaps this interest in props means that Mats would be starting from the bench, which in my opinion he excels at

Weve bought three players and for a change Im happy with all of them

I want to see how Madge goes. Team selections can kill a coach and he needs to get that right. It's also going to be difficult. Farah vs Liddle. Benji vs Reynolds. Fonua and Momo or whoever. Where do you play ET. How do you fit in players like Garner, Chee-Kam, Aloiai and Eisenhuth.

We also are hopefully going to be a drama free club and I really hope he doesn't add to the drama.

I thought Cleary did a really good job under tough circumstances and the club looks a lot better when he left than when he got here however he made some questionable signings.

I think Cleary was basically signing the best of whomever was willing to come here. He's a merkin for bailing don't get me wrong, but he got us on the right path going forward. He showed that the guys he has signed are able to perform well enough to keep good teams honest, however they fell apart when the grind of the season kicked in.

Madge will bring pulling power so between the best of Ivan's recruits and whomever else Madge gets on board we should be a better side for it.

In all honesty, we lost nearly a dozen players last year and there's not one I am genuinely disappointed in losing. Sue was probably the best of the bunch, but who knows if he was only aiming up because he was told he wasn't wanted and his future was on the line. Injuries are going to test our depth if we cannot release a few planks like McQueen and Rochow and replace them with another decent centre and winger.

The INS are certainly improvements on the OUTS that's for sure.

I am really concerned about our goal-kicking. Marsters is heart-attack material. Mbye is worse.
