If you do that, I think you risk losing Latu and perhaps his brothers, so it's a no for me.
If Latu is to be our future, may as well start him asap.

Put it this way. if the league equivalent of The Rogestaan Royals we’re bidding for players in the IPL right now ..Reynolds would be offered $3.5 million, Latu $90,000 if he’s lucky

Selwyn Cobbo stated previously that he wants to stay with the Broncos to be near family. Now he's expecting a drop in salary to accommodate the big guns so the 22-year-old has destroyed that narrative and said it won't play a part in a decision on his future.
Cobbo visits his home town whenever he can, but made it clear after starring in a 42-18 win over the Bulldogs on Thursday night that moving away from Brisbane would not be a barrier to him signing a deal with a club based in another state.

The only narratives I can think of is Bula has Moses as a manager, Naden is at the end of his career and as you can see what happens when we lose our best centre pickings are slim.
We do have Makasini and Luke Laulilii though but Cobbo has played SOO, played in a GF, and for Australia in the Pacific's Championships.

I heard something like that a couple of weeks ago. If it's true Newton needs to be removed as it's a clear conflict of interest. Why a union offical would need an NRL player manager has got me a bit stuffed though.

If it's true, does he give 6% of his salary to Satan? If he can't negotiate his own salary, holding down that position, what good is he to the union members he represents?
