From what I've read the deal Richo put forward originally was a good one, offer Knights Tallyn for the remainder of the year in return for us getting KPP immediately. Tallyn gets game time, Knights plug a hole and so do we.

You'd think this would be a good deal for both of us. I like the Tigers trying to do a deal like this.

You never know whats going on behind the scenes but the media reports dont help these young guys, Galvin reportedly didnt like being 2nd fiddle to a 4 time premiership winner, now Tallyn doesn't want to be second fiddle to a 3 time premiership winner.

This is what I don't get. It doesn't make sense does it.

I really don't understand why we are letting him negotiate for an immediate release. He is only 20, he can play NSW cup next year and be backup for Api. I don't see how it benefits us in any way letting him go early.

Jared Haywood is highly rated he plays #9 in our Jersey Flegg team, just about the best player every week

edit - in the viral video where Galvin drops the ball over the line in schoolboy footy, Haywood is the one knocking it out of his hands

Listening to the press conference it sounded like Benji was asked if TDS will still be at the club after July 30 and he said he didn't know.

Haywood is a gun and we've locked him up. That means nothing these days I know but it is what it is.

Based on that I wouldn't re-sign him. I don't care what he offers, even on a very low value contract. We want to move towards a Satan free zone.

Mainly because I think he's the smartest bloke in the team.

I think he will, it will certainly need to be managed, but TDS was going to be that person to do it. But if he's going, I believe we have options, Hope and Haywood (coming through), I want TDS to stay, but he is not anywhere near Api's level, imo.
