Looks like Doueihi is staying, love the clickbait headline about players being pushed out and having a photo of Luai and Tito. Spoiler, its Stains, Naden and Porter.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - AUGUST 03: Jarome Luai, Adam Doueihi and Sunia Turuva of the Wests Tigers celebrate victory during the round 22 NRL match between Wests Tigers and Canterbury Bulldogs at CommBank Stadium, on August 03, 2025, in Sydney, Australia. (Photo by Mark Evans/Getty Images)

Imminent Doueihi re-signing could push out three Tigers

Adam Doueihi is poised to accept a revised two-year deal with Wests Tigers – but salary cap restraints could squeeze three players out of Concord. MARKET WATCH
He’s been having a golden run lately.

I liked his huge strides in that try, but also Nado backing up.

Getting back to Gus, i think he’s got a much more complex character than he’s given credit for. Many sides to him.

Im sure it happens at Penrith
True but you and I can only dream of the day we have the pathways and systems in place and are run as professionally as Penrith are. Unfortunately we are run by geniuss and merkins with agendas and scores to settle rather than a true interest to put the club first

We must have finally come up with a TPA. Apparently we offered $350K a year for 2 years and the dragons $500K a year for 2 years.

If this is true, he's left a years salary sitting on the table to stay at the tigers. And he has to give 6 to 10% to his manager now.

I find it hard to believe that someone of his ability, with his injury history, would leave that much money on the table. Anyway, good on us for finally getting a good deal.

You have to question Satan's ability as a player manager. Under his direction gutless is missing out on $250K a year over 3 years and AD missing out on $300K over a 2 year period.

Surely the players union is interested in this sort of thing? RL is not like the NFL where there's so much money that 1 multi year contract can set you up for life many times over, and you can take unders after that as money doesn't matter anymore. Most RL players need to maximise every dollar for their whole careers to ensure they're set up well for life after footy.

Just guessing AD would have got more than $350. that decision was too quick..he could have hung around to wait for other suitors? The world doesnt have to know what he got.. and the lower paid players dont need to know about the concept of a pay increase if you ask for it… AND your either overestimating Moses or underestimating AD ..definitely the latter..
With Fox and family to consider, Benji used to drive out to Wollongong and back to Sydney every training session with the dragons… maybe AD didn’t like that option, if he didn’t want to live there

There’s no way he has agreed to less than the saints offer.TPA’s have plugged the shortfall.Im glad hes staying & not least coz he’s managed by the grubby saboteur.Hopefully it means the grub will liaise with us re retaining Bula albeit im not holding my breath.

Gee you guys are slow. Didn't you read that I chipped in by giving AD my vintage Fanta yoyo and an entire collection of Scanlens Footy Trading cards, still with unrapped pink chewing gum inside..

We certainly had some decent 5/8’s at Balmain in my school days.In addition to Percy there were David topliss Jeff Shield & Les Mara. They were all quality.I will especially never 4get Topliss single handedly winning us a knockout semi against manly in the late 70’s.Additionally the formidable combination Mara had with the sublime Alan McMahon.

Alan was awesome eh, had a good boot. I picked up on him kicking the opposition in a punt kick follow thru.
The opposition hesitated on subsequent kicks. :)

I doubt that IM has as much sway over Doueihi as most might think... it would be contract assistance and advice but I very much doubt that Moses could have gotten AD to leave if he didn't want to

I was just working through out squad for next season and it looks to me like we are close to done already.

I assume we will sign Tyrone May and I'm not sure if Ethan Roberts and Javon Andrews are top 30 contracts.

Anyway we really need a couple of middle forwards.

We also could do with a couple of players off our books especially Sullivan and probably Hunt and Bird. I doubt we'll lose any of them easily.

We look to have a bunch of edge forwards which is good because that has been a weakness. I think our outside backs are pretty good. If Luke Laulilii or Skelton are in the top team I think we still look good.

2026
1. Jahream Bula
2. Sunia Turuva
3. Starford To’a
4. Heamasi Makasini
5. Tyrone May --> not yet signed

6. Latu Fainu
7. Jarome Luai

8. Alex Twal
9. Apisai Koroisau (c)
10. Terrel May
11. Samuela Fainu
12. Kai Paul Pearce
13. Adam Doueihi

14. Tristan Hope
15. Sione Fainu
16. Fonua Pole
17. Alex Seyfarth

Forwards:-
18. Kit Laulilii
19. Solomone Saukuru
20. Tony Sukkar
21. Mavrik Geyer
22. Ethan Roberts --> is this a top 30 contract
23. Royce Hunt
24. Jack Bird
Hookers/Halves/Utilities:-
25. Heath Mason
26. Javon Andrews --> is this a top 30 contract
27. Jock Madden
28. Jayden Sullivan
Outside Backs:-
29. Jeral Skelton
30. Luke Laulilii
