Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

Some blokes just can't be helped, it seems
Mt Druitt Local Court, he’s still in the catchment damn, I could have got his autograph and driven him home.

Dumb. Does it again, he could have Junior Amone as a cellie.

Some porn for the holiday:

Some hard core smug fans think he’s irreplaceable.

The word on the other forum is that Noffa has been moved out in a player swap.
Don't know who for. Someone else reckons Noffa isn't on our player list any more.
The bloke that posted it is an unknown.
But the title here is "rumours".
I really hope it isn't true. If he plays like he did for the Storm he will be awesome for us.

If it is true I hope it is so we can get an amazing fullback or at the very least a super star center.

I can live with it if it is some kind of deal that gets Moses here this year.

I just checked our webbsite and Noffa is still there.

If it turned out to be true they are claiming player swap. I would be deliriously happy if we got Ryan Papenhuyzen even if he was out for the first half of the season. Can't see it happening though.

That would be sensational. Fingers crossed
Yep.

On the balance he’s going to get done what he is asked.

Brooks has all of the composure of a passenger aircraft after a bird strike.

When he does know what he’s doing, he either jags the play or makes a meal of it.

He’s very very wealthy by general population standards, I have zero sympathy for him. He won’t go hungry or be homeless.

He’s a failure. I don’t hold that against him, it is what it is.

All our new players, they have seen him fail for years. It would disturb them underneath to know their precious meters made are going to end up in his hands.

The blokes re signed are used to it. Built up a resilience and tolerance for fifth tackle failure.
They really don’t know any better. But we owe the new blokes something for their generous appraisal of our prospects.

Not many good players join a struggling club. We need to show them the love.

Approaching Moses and giving him something to think about is one of the few recent decisions I thoroughly endorse and agree with.

He’s a fair player and I think he will enormous composure and intent to our end of sets.

He will be very expensive, but worth the extra compared with Brooksy.

Tim’s defence of Brooks, well I suppose he was softening the personal blow for his impending exit.

The plot thickens.

If he comes, I’ll only forgive him, if he get us to the finals.

Same with Timmy as well.

Nothing else really matters as far as I’m concerned.

He was young, angry and having likely to be having some mental health issues.

If he signs up, I am sure that he will be happy to apologise and seek forgiveness for his crimes against the club.

There are times in life to hold a grudge and other times not to.

Our suffering has been extraordinary, we are officially the worst club in the game. It’s been death by a thousand cuts, we are on life support. We are drip fed spin intravenously to keep us alive, but there’s only a faint pulse when nurse is changing our mouthguard.

If you can’t manage it emotionally, smile along and cross your fingers behind your back.

Moses fits in with @stryker s interesting assessment that Tim is desperately trying to “Benji-proof” the squad.

But given the latest from Tim, there’s a small stirring in the loins in the hope that he should take his leave earlier than expected. Perhaps a family reasons thing.

Pass the baton to Lambsy or big Dave asap.

Imagine old mate, bombs high enough creating enough time for everyone behind him to have long black coffees, a cigarette, do their tax and casually stroll forward and bear witness to the opposing full back knocking on.

Bullet passes to a rampaging paps creating the extra man and running over Burto like he was Matterson. Cut out to Tommy and it’s Wests Tigers 46, bulldogs 0 ten out from half time.

95% of passes hitting the mark at sub Atomic level ( which only the large hadron collider can measure) instead of looping off into the fifth dimension and bouncing into the ice cream kid, only to be seen somewhere in a parallel universe by a surprised seagull in 2 millions years time.

Even buddy Rhyno has been quiet about it.

Because he’s….well he’s….hes afraid.

You must learn to love again. Open your heart to Mitchell Moses. ❤️

If @Ned Kelly and I can join forces, so can you.

Join our courageous coalition of the willing, a song beckons:

When you walk
through the club
Hold you head up high
And don’t be afraid of Mo-ses.

Walk on, Walk on
With hope for the halves

And you’ll never walk alone.

You’ll never walk alone!

a a lone, a a lone, a a lone!

Are you forgetting the guys a stroppy little wanker who blames everyone for his mistakes and wants to throw his toys out of the cot?

Come and do something then, maybe. I can love a winner like everyone else. Interesting Parra didn’t choose him over Brown.

Moses isn’t a racially slurring lump of shiz like Tedesco or a locker licking slob like Sharon.

He was obviously going through a very difficult time at home when he was weighing up his station with us, causing him to act impulsively.

I’m sure he regrets “letting his guard down”

Despite best efforts, this can happen in the cut and thrust of these unexpected and challenging life events.

We should not be too quick to judge him harshly.

T’would be better to so hum the anthem quietly;

“…with hope in the halves.”
