Sorry 64 and Dragondad, don't mean to stir up shit on here aye. I hope it's true. Source is one of the jersey sponsors (you know when a player scores a try at home or when they read the team line-up they say "Jamie Soward sponsored by blah blah blah"). He was right about Beale earlier in the year if that's anything.

Anyways, until it's announced, personally I'm not getting too excited. Just thought I'd share it with the Forum after a depressing night.

It's mostly based on what I have read and what club officials have said. It is my opinion and I would love to be proved wrong because I hate seeing the Dragons perform so badly.

Hmm i think the problem with you guys is the reliance of older players such as Hornby, Cooper and Fien. They were bloody good players back in 2010, and parts of 2011 and were great servants for the club since they debuted (I am aware Fien only came in a few years ago) , but you really need to develop a centre and half, or poach. In a few years time i could see...

1. Cummins
2. Morris
3. K.Stanley
4. Vidot (Much better at centre imo, even though i know how you guys absolutely despise him)
5. Nightingale
6. Soward? If he gets his shit together
7. Pearce (possibly)

With Rein and King switching from the bench and hooker i think that would strike up a great combination.

Pearce.. well do we have money to buy him? does Price have a clue in regards to recruitment? would Pearce want to play for a clueless coach who will not in any way help develop Pearce as a player??
Cummins ... well does Price see him a first grader next season? where does the Beale fit in...
Price wont drop hornby, and will not drop cooper either so he will be first choice at left centre again next season if he plays on... oh the joys of selecting a coach that is mates with the players... did they not learn their lesson from doing the same thing with BRown?

Although, maybe he was working on the theory that it might be his last chance for a while!
He should focus getting his own act together.

I think Sowie is playing busted. On the ABC, Warren Ryan was saying that Jamie doesn't take the ball to the line like he used to as if he is worried about getting more hurt. It looks as if that is possible.

I thought Prices comments were fine at the time, but unfortunately giving the media a little kindling, and they havent shut up about it all week... but now in hindsight, yes it looks pretty bad after our last performance.

i think he is simply playing without confidence and is clearly frustrated with how the season is going..
we all know soward is a confidence player and guys like Bennett and Sailor spent hours whispering in his ear to keep his confidence and mind set in the right place... i doubt Price has the ability to do this.

Just been in formed that Soward will form a 5 man bench when team announced tomorrow!! training was spent w Price and Soward having a 20 min one on one!!

This may just about pep up the dragons and get everyone performing to their optimum now that one of the "playmakers" has been shown the bench!!

Although I don't agree with it if it happens, it will be interesting to see how Soward responds to it if it does eventuate.

The way I see it, he can prove Steve Price wrong by coming off the bench and having a blinder or go into a shell.
