This comp is waiting to be won. Hard to believe that they are behind Eels, Tigers, Broncos and Pennies. All very ordinary sides. Even the top 4 are not great. Storm's discipline makes them a great regular season team. Doubt they have extra gear. Easts have the cattle but can throw in a stinker with a big error rate. Souths have some quality and a number of duds. Canberra just aren't that good.

A switched on Sharks could do real damage. They have been switched on maybe three times this season.

Making the finals will be good experience for the kids. No expectation this team can go on a run.

Not because of who we are and who they are. Just a hunch as quasimodo would say.

Yeh we have proven this year that we can’t apply ourselves enough for more than 2 weeks in a row.

Simply not good enough, especially when you need to win 3 or 4 finals games in a row to win the comp.

Had we beaten the Panthers I would have said we would have at least won our next three in a row at home.. who knows what to expect next now. It’s frustrating cause we have the team and when we’re on we can beat anyone.

Our run home is fairly good in comparison to those around us;

7th placed Penrith play Broncos (A), Cowboys (A), Roosters (A) and Newcastle (H)

8th placed Donks play Penrith (H), Rabbitohs (H), Eels (H), Bulldogs (A)

We in ninth place and one point behind Brisbane play Dragons (H), Warriors (H), Raiders (H), Tigers (A)

Tigers in 10th plays Manly (A), Knights (H), Dragons (A), Sharks (H)

Out of those four I’d say us and the Tigers have the easiest run home, our game in the last round at Leichhardt could very be the 8th place play off. We should be winning at least three of the last four. “Should” being the operative word.
